>i9 9900k
>rtx 2080
>32gb ram
>still can't get 60 fps at highest settings
I9 9900k
Aren't you that retard who dunked his CPU in thermal paste?
Which motherboard are you using? That sounds like the bottleneck.
>gaming at 4k ever
how would that bottleneck anything?
legit curious.
ram frequency?
I still don't get the benefit of 4k. Unless you're sitting way to close to your screen you can't see individual pixels at 1080p.
Are you running 4 simultaneous instances of your game in 8k or something?
65''HDR+
you will see the difference
unless you fell for the 4k meme there's like three games this applies to
run a diagnostic to see if you're getting bottlenecked somewhere.
If the motherboard isn't strong enough to cope with the load, it bottlenecks. It's pretty simple. The motherboard wasn't posted, only processor, ram and graphics card.
Also, it could be the shittiest 32GBs of RAM ever. Where are the real specs? How can people help without the relevant information?
Who the fuck plays PC games on a screen that big?
Ultra settings end up being a meme most of the time. You can turn the game down to High or Very High and 99 percent of the time, you won't notice the difference in visual fidelity. It's only when you turn settings down to Medium that the difference becomes more noticeable.
Yeah, endless stutter. Followed by complaining online as to why your $5000 of hardware can't run a game without stuttering. Followed by attempting to fix the stutter, followed by prolonged disappointment.
Highest is for screenshots bro. Medium and High are for gameplay.
I'm kind of glad most games scale with low spec consoles. If they scaled with high end PC's every game would be unplayable because devs take gratuitous liberties with what's afforded to them.
just sit closer to the screen bro
nvidia 2000 series is an overpriced meme
all because AMD couldn't compete
sell the cast and wait until september
this.
and even so, we still get shit ports constantly
me
>Yeah, endless stutter.
works fine on my machine
the only time i sit close to a screen it's in VR
What resolution? That set up is only ok for 1080p 60 fps.
If you want 1440p you need 2080ti.
1440p 60fps, you need to SLI two 2080s
1440p 120fps you need to SLI two 2080tis and not have anything running in the background and shadows will need to be low.
Fucking learn basic stuff before PC gaming faggot.
Seriously, can somebody explain the appeal of such fuckhuge screens to me? I've been playing on 24" screens for like 15 years now and not once felt like I needed a bigger one. Feels like it's the perfect size.
ah i remember this guy, blew his brains out on live tv.
Sure it does. That's why you're here.
honestly, games don't need to look any bether than they do now.
run better, maybe. but the race to photorealism is a misguided one.
retards with too much money
Huge screens are good for productivity. You can have several monitors' worth of windows open at a time, and when you do play videogames you don't have to pretend to not see a bezel in the center of your screen.
I almost bought an ultrawide, but the specs weren't good enough for me to warrant downgrading from 4k/144hz/hdr
>for the price of a brand new car you can play western AAA garbage at 1440p 120fps
>until next year, where you'll have to buy it all again to play the next open world stealth action adventure
nigga what game do you play, star citizen?
Welcome to the pee shit master race.
Why don't you learn basic shit, I run an 8700k stock with a base 2070 and get like 140-160 on every game i play on high, eat my ass faggot
kek
i just woke up and I like shitposting
bigger viewing distance = more space to get comfy
it also feels like a propper home cinema when watching a movie
got mine used for 400£
I don't eat bad Carbs
I don't drink Coffeee
I don't use Drugs
I don't drink Alcohol
I don't go out for movies
why shouldn't I treat myself to something nice every now and then?
this as welll, it helps so much with video production alongside the other screen i have
>tryhards to enjoy by putting thousands of dollars into pc
playing on a 28+ inch monitor you can tell the pixels at 1080p.
user that's why you have to be a NEET like me and have your work pay for a top of the line gaming computer because your home work PC "failed". Oh and throw in an Elite ViewSonic 1440P 144hz $600 dollar monitor while you're at it.
>got mine used for 400£
>I don't eat bad Carbs
>I don't drink Coffeee
>I don't use Drugs
>I don't drink Alcohol
>I don't go out for movies
cool monitor price but seriously, you need more sin in your life.
try whiskey, it's dope
Stutter? Why would it give you stutter?
Stay in school
>whiskey
In my cabinets I got Glenmorangie 10, Balvenie 12 double cask, Eagle Rare, and even Williams. Got any other suggestions?
Playing end of the spectrum unoptimized shit doesn't count.
oh wow i was gonna try and help but now i know you are a nigger GG
>2080 ti can't play most games at 4k/60 on ultra
>next-gen hasn't even started yet
you drink better than I ever will.
