Personally I'd prefer Part 4 because Morioh is a single location and Sora and Josuke could bond over people disliking their hair. With Josuke taking it a bit more seriously.

I love the gameplay but the overarching story is ass and don't give me that usual Zig Forums contrarian shit

I meant it for people who don understand the story and retcons of the sequels. I played all the games until DDD (don't have a ps4 or xbox one) and understood the whole plot with no problem.

KH3 was my first KH game I didn't understand a literal fucking thing that was happening for the entire duration. Even near the end there were some new characters (I think?) introduced that looked and sounded like some of the other characters I had already seen which made no fucking sense.

I did enjoy the Disney characters/worlds though.

Not him, but part 4's darker horror elements clash a lot with KH's more positive atmosphere, and Kira doesn't seem like a good candidate for a KH boss battle. He's more of an intellect fighter, a fight with him seems like it'd just end up a bad reaction command heavy one.
I think it'd be great to see Josuke and Sora interact too, but his part, notsomuch. Part 3 is my least favorite personally, but it's much closer in tone to KH than part 4, and DIO makes a much better KH boss fight, could even add a gimmick where Sora has to cast Stopga or something to let him counter Za Warudo.
If anything have Josuke show up as a healing summon that also beats the crap out of your enemies and reverts statuses and buffs on them.
