I learned how to play guitar with a $60 acoustic. Sounded like shit and you need to tune the strings every 6 hours but I learned through it.

Want to play some emo rock songs , they aren't even hard necessarily. I just sit at home and then can't get the motivation to try. Ive probably put 4-500 hours in guitar, but they are spread across so many years and so many attempts where I eventually gave up. I want to learn, but do I have the desire to put up with how long I'd be shit at it to get good? For that I am not sure
