You enjoy all the killing, that's why!

>You enjoy all the killing, that's why!
Liquid says this regardless of how you play MGS1. So is the implication that the canon of the game is Snake murders the fuck out of everyone?

I never used the tranquilizer (willingly) in MGS2 or 3

Yes.

Snake singlehandedly kills all of FOXHOUND in the canon, so not killing any genome soldiers is a moot point. He was also icing motherfuckers in Zanzibar Land and Outer Heaven.

Is it gay if his arm jerked ocelot off?

this. Liquid literally says "you killed all my foxhound team" or something like that after this line

Not to mention the Sorrow boss fight makes no sense thematically if you aren't a killer.

Ok so who did Liquid kill then?

using the tranq is like not pressing A in a mario 64 run

its just a means to challenge yourself wich the games in the seriese let you do. I enjoy going naked via the infinite heaven mod on mgs5.

Master Miller?

But that's a different Snake

Bet he liked that the fucking hypocrite. Where does this guy get off?

True but my point is the implication that despite how you play the game, what "actually" happened is Solid Snake/Raiden/Big Boss went full lethal.

Don't you have to kill after scaping your cell, 2x elevator, stairs and after this on the jeep?

>So is the implication that the canon of the game is Snake murders the fuck out of everyone

This is the 3rd game featuring Snake as the protagonist. He's killed a lot of people

Except PW and V because both games require capturing lots of living soldiers otherwise Mother Base makes no sense.

Kaz had a hard life...

He was referring to you killing the bosses

>successfully kills a 50(?)+ paraplegic man
Liquid was a bitch regardless of his genes

NOPE. Ocelot did it. So Liquid actually didnt kill a single person.

If you killed enough that Liquid can claim you enjoy killing, that kinda implies you killed a lot more guys than just the bosses.

In MGS1 no, in the overall lore he's killed plenty of people as the leader of FOXHOUND.

when you find meryl its very hard not to kill, same with the stealth camo elevator fight, running up the stairs in that forced gun turret alarm, lots of points in the game where the average player would have slaughtered genome soldiers

since I couldn't respond, she's argentinian, I'm the one posting her retard

Maybe not the Genome soldiers, but you absolutely murder the fuck out of everyone in Foxhound. This was before stamina knockouts during fights.

Twin Snakes doesn't count.

The absolute minimum required kills in MGS1 is like 15 or 16 so thats still a lot of people to kill. You have to kill all the bosses, you have to kill the guards after coming out of the darpa chiefs (decoy octopus) cell, you can exploit to get meryl to kill some of them but you MUST kill the first wave until snakes yells are meryl to use her gun and she goes AHHHHHHHHH and shoots guards. You have to kill the stealth guards in the elevator. You kind of have to kill the guards on the walkway between the two buildings after the rappel but with careful stun grenade use you can bypass killing them but hardly anyone would do that as its too hard. You have to kill the guard you first encounter in the blast furnace as if you don't he'll spot you going under the crane thing up against the wall. You have to kill the guards on the elevator going to vulcan raven. There I think thats every mandatory kill accounted for.

Not to mention Snake is never given any circumstances to spare anyone there other than the DARPA Chief and the Armstech president. Everyone else in Shadow Moses was deemed expendable and I'm pretty sure you're explicitly ordered to kill everyone in Foxhound.

Wait I forgot. You have to kill the guards in the car chase at the end as well. So really this all ads up to about 20 kills or something.

The two fighter jet pilots he shot down in his helicopter.

Maybe they parachuted out

He says "Haven't you killed all my comrades?"
>I watched your face when you did it.
>It was filled with, the joy, of battle.

Let's be honest, non-lethal was never canon. It's a fun thing to do in the game but narratively it makes no sense that a guy who was raised to kill would go around sparing anyone he can in a facility full of terrorists.

Gray Fox.

It also makes no sense that the person he's based off of would spare people that he knocked out so he could put a balloon on their belt and rocket them into the stratosphere

>killing willingly in MGS
Are you a fucking casual?

In fairness he was cloned before Big Boss starting doing that shit.

Actually I can buy that because Big Boss was just a regular soldier before the events of Snake Eater, and he was always kind of a wierdo. Eli, David, and Jack were all born and raised for the sole purpose of being molded into the perfect killing machines. If anything what makes no sense is that Jack is the only one who ended up fucked up in the head as a result of it.
