It has a better soundtrack, Yoshi, you can replay levels, the level design in my opinion is better, and has a pleasing color palette and is one of the best looking mario games. I still really enjoy Mario 3, but i find myself going back to World a lot more often.

Not that one. Deltarune is way more soulful than that Kickstarter piece of shit. It's filled to the brim with "le ironic self aware humor" and "muh RPG subversion," whereas Deltarune comes across as something much more genuine to what the creator wanted to make. It fully embraces its identity as an RPG, and while there is still some reddit humor it feels much more like the creator found it funny, and less like a bunch of normies gave a bunch of cash to make meme monsters like Tsundere Plane. It's also far more original, and has homages that elude to other works rather than straight up references to things like Final Fantasy but with "le funny TV Robot."
