Tfw 970 and still able to run everything at 60fps
What settings and resolution?
>3.5
glorious high definition 1080P
1080 like everyone else
>Avoids revealing the settings
Oh no no no no
1080p and 1440p look the same
prove me wrong
>
I look the same as ryan gosling. prove me wrong
both look like shit so yeah, wheres the lie?
>tfw 970 and still able to run everything at 60fps on lowest settings
FTFY. if you're gonna cope over your boomer tech you can at least be honest with yourself.
let's hope so. for your sake
Should I invest in a 2070 super or wait for the 3XXX series. Serious question
I got a 4GB 960 in my 2nd PC and it can run Forza Motorsport 7 at high settings at 60/70fps at 1080p, good enough for me.
numbers
try to run RDR2/Horizon at 1080p/60fps ultra settings
Get a console next gen and stop wasting money on PC gaming.
I love my 980ti, which looks like your card (MSI). It's the sexiest card I've ever owned. Still runs most games at 2k 144fps. Atleast... the games that I really care about (not AAA SHIT).
good for you
They look the same because of the shitty antialiasing implementation on modern games like TAA, FXAA
Definitely wait. Even if you don't go for a 30XX card you can expect 20XX to drop in price.
There's literally a fucking countdown going on for the 3000 series announcement as we speak. How can you possibly be this impatient?
>Just waste money buying a new machine every three years bro!!
>Just pay for a platform that is harder to pirate on bro!!!
>just
>just
>just
not at 1440p
t. 970 owner
i'd rather not be at the mercy of what the devs decide is acceptable when it comes to framerates in my games, if i wanted to play sleeping dogs on ps4 right now which is a fucking ps3/360 era game it runs at 30fps and there's fuckall you can do about it.
Except sony and microsoft consoles always last way longer than gpus, and consider how lazy most pc ports are you always need to upgrade your gpu to stay on par.
>3 years
But that's PC. Console gens are 7 years.
You deserve having lost money for your poor decisions
DLSS will change that.
>60 fps in 2020
I have a vega 56 and I also run everything on max at 60+ fps and 1080p
I wonder what games people are playing where they need a 2080
I have a gtx 970 and he's right. I've played most current gen games not a single one got below 60fps on high+ settings 1080, most even go above 100fps.
Yes high isn't ultra, but the difference in every game where I've tested it was negligible. Anyone saying otherwise it's a seething manchild who overspend on 1080ti/2080ti's
how much power difference is there between a 970 and a 2080???

Just upgrade to Nvidia next-gen GPUs
