I don't sleep soundly at all, this fucking heat is killing me.

turn on the ac

skyrims dark brotherhood was a disappointment after the high bar oblivion set. people could argue all day over which game is better but oblivion got this right at least.

ay

yeah, video games are boring and always make me fall asleep

Should i RISE UP?

As much as Todd fucked up Oblivion, at LEAST that game had some fun and memorable quests. All I remember from Skyrim is fighting the fucking Drauger.

Everything about Skyrim was a disappointment.
The quests and combats are the biggest offenders. Which is strange considering the fact that most of Skyrim's quests centred around its shit combat system.

all i rememeber was the same line "conjure me up a bed would you." because i had some points in summoning. every fucking town

Skyrim takes itself way too seriously. I guess it wouldn’t be a problem if the presentation wasn’t shit, but that’s not the case. The final battle was a complete joke. It’s supposed to be an epic moment but it’s just three guys running around like autists in an empty field and getting knocked over. Despite the presence of all these flaws, the game doesn’t embrace them. You can’t jump high, you can’t make yourself permanently invisible, nothing. Just fight zombies like a serious guy in a serious game.

Yeah well you're a fat nigger.

I have killers, I'm Sithis

>Despite the presence of all these flaws, the game doesn’t embrace them
i wish they had at least made the funnier options available at a high level or something. gate keep them from new players so they dont ruin the game for themselves early. but theres no reason you shouldnt be able to enchant a flying ring like morrowind and laugh your way across the map. it actually made that game insanely fun

I didn't even sleep

>start new game
>do arena
>do the arena quest to make the champion give up and then murder him in the match
>get dark brotherhood invite
Anyone else did this?

I didn’t get an invite after that. But I played with the unofficial patch, maybe that changes it.

I find it odd that Skyrim's Greatswords use the same speed as Battleaxes (the two-handed axe weapon-class in the game), but do less damage than Battleaxes.
It renders the entire Greatsword weapon-class functionally obsolete.

The bug has been in the game since Skyrim's first release, back in 11/11/11, and has never been fixed by Bethesda to this day.

I just wish we had SOMETHING that was like Daggerfall or even Morrowind where they give us a sandbox RPG world with unique lore and just let us run around discovering and playing it our way. I understand giant companies trying to make the most cash possible but you'd think there would still be a market for this.

No ac in Europe

>oblivion dark brotherhood
>Essentially a psychopath schizophrenic in a yandere family
>You kill them all and become a wandering assassin who enters different towns to kill

>oblivion Mages guild
>you're an intern/student who's broke and needs to fetch coffee for every other wizard above you until you can join the University
>After that you're an agent/researcher

>You can be a young student intern who fetches coffee for others by day but at night murders people and completes contracts.
This is the only way I play the game

>stealth mage character

Mother of Based. This seems like such a rare character type but holy shit is it fun, both in gameplay and roleplay.

Other than illusion are there even any spells that are of a major use as a stealth character?
I guess light eye or detect can be useful, but I usually get them as enchantments.

I'm going to say the gamer word, don't try to stop me

Staying in the shadows and using conjuration or fucking with enemies and making them attack each other is a lot of fun (forgot what school that was, the one with mind control and frenzy). You can pick off enemies one by one with a dagger or bow while they're ganging up on a Daedra or fighting each other.

glad i'm not the only one who noticed this. my character is usually a barbarian so it works for me, but it's surprising that oversight happened at all

oblivion dark brotherhood is overrated as fuck

"..."

When something is good and you didn't play/watch/read it without the appraisals it gets, then you're going to go with a critical mindset.
You might've found it good.

Let me get this straight, you think Oblivion is the best Elder Scrolls?

Attached: murray.jpg (1200x673, 77.83K)

don't try to play armchair psychologist. it's a shitty questline that suffers from bad writing and retard proof/inconsistent game mechanics.

Daggerfall had the best concept and scope
Morrowind had the best world and lore
Oblivion had the best music and quests
Skyrim had the best le epic maymays xD
IMO

whacha mean by concept that is not w.b or lore

Gamers don’t sleep, we’re to busy gunning down minorities

Why is the leveling system so autistic that it's optimal to pick skills you'll never actually use as your main ones?

>it's a shitty questline that suffers from bad writing
If you're overly critical enough, anything can be shitty with bad writing.

Because optimal rarely translates to fun.
That said, than fuck for leveling mods.

>music and quests
All that matters anyway
