Have you accepted that Edelgard is the next newcomer from the Fighters Pass yet?
She has everything on her side, from popularity, to leaks, to being first party, all the way to insiders backing her.

Never forget
Bernie! Bernie! Bernie!
Why do you keep posting this as if anyone here genuinely gives a fuck about Terry or his dumbass company that went bankrupt twice?
Literally a Dimitranny psyop.
>Here's your white haired anime weapon wielder, Dantefags!
If Dantefags get pissed off at Edelgard's inclusion, that's even further reason to back her!
THE BOAR
are edeltards the most autistic waifu fanbase FE has ever had?
They're definitely the most aggressive and mean spirited, but there's been others that were spammed and sperged about like her.
They definitely have the most overall spergs, you don't see Camilla or Lynfags seethe tremendously or post essay long arbitrary replies
they seem a lot more autistic because she's the villain and they sperg out if you point that out
>tfw like all 3 of the 3H lords to varying degrees and would be happy to see any of them in Smash over shitty Byleth
>but edelgard fans are so aggressively shitty and stupid that giving them a win in any way feels wrong
What I don't get is why?
Have they never waifued the villain before?
>she's the villain
Play the game, she's not.
The developers already confirmed that she's the villain.
Tell us how Edelgard and the Empire got to the position they’re in now.
Kusakihara: I think most of the characters walking the path of conquest up until now have been men. I also think villains are often men… I wanted to do something unexpected, or make it harder to predict future events, so that role went to a woman this time.
Yokota: There’s a contrast between her strong side, pushing through with her conquest, and her adorable side, and I think she turned out to be a good character. Also, sure enough, we left in the longstanding series trope of “empire = bad guys.” With the name “empire,” I feel like there really is this vague image of “probably evil.” Regarding the story, it started with the element of “let’s make it Romance of the Three Kingdoms,” but we also wanted to have a school life. That meant it would have to be temporarily peaceful, and from there, we needed something to spark a war. To that end, something needed to be the bad guy… or rather, shoulder a role close to that, or the story wouldn’t work, so we had the Empire support us in that way.
>Edelgard
>the villain
CF is literally the only ending where the molemen are dealt with, humanity is in control of its own destiny, Fodlan is stable and united, and the material and social conditions of the commonfolk is considerably improved.
She's not the villain, she's pretty much the protagonist.
Developer interview and 3/4 routes say otherwise
>literally starts the conflict of the game
>is explicitly stated to be the villain in 3 of the 4 routes
>devs already said she's the villain
Why fight it?
Who are you trying to fool?
She's the villain.
Your citation literally says she's good, that the "Empire = evil" trope is inverted, and that she only has the "role of something that would otherwise be a bad guy".
She's a trope inversion, you moron. She's not the villain.
Fodlan is the least united in CF though
In AM, VW and SS you get support from everywhere
In CF you murder anybody who disagrees with you and force them to submit
>CF is literally the only ending where the molemen are dealt with
They are delt with in all routes, infact, CF is the only route in which you don't directly do it
>I think most of the characters walking the path of conquest up until now have been men. I also think villains are often men… I wanted to do something unexpected, or make it harder to predict future events, so that role went to a woman this time.
>most villains are men
>so I made edelgard, a woman, the villain
Are all Edeltrannies ESL?
Without the non-canon Ashen Wolves DLC, the molemen are left to roam freely and go back to their shenanigans, still hidden from the eye of the world in AM.
It basically makes Azure Moon a canon bad ending.
This. None of the Devil May Cry games are even good. The only good Capcom series are Street Fighter, Mega Man, and Resident Evil. If a third Capcom rep gets in, it should be Leon
>enemy army is knocking on the gates to your capital
>instead of surrendering you decide to use peasants as meat shields and turn yourself into a giant monster that wants to dominate humanity
why was edelgard so fucking evil bros?
Edeltards get the rope, Ms. Literal Villain.
They like to read between lines, because the only way they can get someone to agree with them is when they put words in their mouths
>To that end, something needed to be the bad guy… or rather, shoulder a role close to that
