How many games were released in July? 3?

all this does is prove nintendofags are so starved for games theyll even buy shit like nu-PM

source? very bad news if true.

Everything on the Switch is the best-selling.

>Best-selling Zelda of all time
>Best-selling Animal Crossing of all time
>Best-selling Pokémon game since the Game Boy era
>Best-selling Paper Mario

Switch owners will buy anything published by Nintendo.

>Believing good sales matter to the them
They wouldn't have changed or altered shit even if it flopped, see CS

It did great and it didn't even include digital sales.

are you fucking kidding me with this shit

>third-best selling game in a month
>during all this nogames bullshit
That's impressive?

>[game] broke [weirdly specific] sales record!
Why does every single game have a headline like this?

Not like we have a fucking pandemic going on with everyone stuck at home or anything.

Where will it fall Zig Forums?

It was a solid 7/10 experience even 8/10 at some points. It’s no ttyd but it’s a lot better than any paper Mario that’s been out in recent years.

Good, I hope the next game is similar to TOK.

~4%
TTYD will never be dethroned (unless Miyamoto dies)

It'll probably outsell TYD but not SPM.

What's up with that? Switch has the same normie audience as the Wii but Wii owners didn't hysterically gobble up literally every single game nintendo farted out, in fact they pretty much ignored games like paper mario

lmfao it sold less than a game release almost a year ago

Attached: 1568084959429.jpg (340x296, 7.48K)

We also thought Pokemon SWSH would bomb but almost a year later it's the 3rd best selling generation behind 1 and 2.

The Switch is a game selling machine and 2.25m isn't a high bar to pass.

Wii had a lot more software.

its like sports, there's always some obscure and irrelevent record you can up with to make a headline about

The point is that it more than doubled the sales of TTYD (without counting digital sales), meaning we're guaranteed to get more games in the style of SS/CS/TOK.

What else should we be buying, oh glorious taste maker?

>raw sales numbers
Cringe.
The attach rate is what matters. Imagine if they released a PM game on switch that reached 10%.
That's 6 million game sales.

Any sales number below that is lost money.

>mfw loved TOK and just want more to play

It's really not surprising though. Casual market is simply way larger than RPG.

>beaten by Modern Warfare
>released October 2019
Uh, how do we spin this tokfags?

Attached: 1539704701118.gif (652x562, 625.71K)

The attach rate matters to literally no one except you.

It's an especially useless stat for the GameCube since it sold like shit, so any 1st party exclusives will have an inflated attach rate.

Money (sales) is what matters and no amount of coping will change that.

>it sold like shit, so any 1st party exclusives will have an inflated attach rate
t. mongoloid
Look down a bit to Color Splash.

I think Alphadreams could have avoided bankrupcy had they managed to put out a game on switch. Shame they had to go out despite making mostly good games.

I think it's because more adults have switches for themselves, and have money unlike children so people are buying games for themselves too. and that switch has a smaller overall library, not counting indieshit.

what nintendo should do is try and revive some dead series like custom robo and advance wars. and make a new warioware goddamnit. and wario land

I actually don't give a shit because attach rate still doesn't matter. Net profit is what drives game development decisions, not some autist's attach rate chart on Zig Forums.

Also Switch has great hardware sales and high attach rates.
You need to cope with the fact that TTYD is the most beloved game.

So now you're an apologist for reused assets. Bravo.

TOK was a good game, even though it wasn't what the fanbase wanted.

It's frustrating. I feel like it's unfair to dislike the game when it's perfectly stands on its own merits, I just wished it was more like the earlier titles.

>first month sales
>TOK was released mid-month
>TTYD was released at the end of a month, and wasn't even a hot seller
These sales headlines piss me off so much. There's always a way to spin it.

Just give me the RAW NUMBERS NIGGER

You don't HAVE to buy something, retard. You can just stick to purchasing only good games. Whta good is owning something like TOK?

We were guaranteed regardless. Color splash sold like shit, sticker star was hated, and despite those factors they still made them and OK, the developers simply have no interest in making a somewhat normal rpg anymore.

overall smaller library*

No sweetie, let the games media give you the accepted opinion.

Not him, but it'd be more accurate to say 1st party Gamecube exclusives that sold decently in any respect would have an inflated attach rate. Even on the Wii U CS sold like trash.

didn't read lol we're getting tok 2 dwi :)

>number 3 best selling game
>in a month with 1 other game
How do you fuck up this bad?

4% again sounds about right.

This is Pokemon SWSH all over again.

Just accept that the game is success and the average switch user doesn't have the same tastes that you did 15 years ago. No need to give TOKchads more ammo against you.

kek

I would be willing to bet half the faggots here talking shit on TTYD never played it and will never understand how truly glorious it was

>attach rate perfectly corresponds with public opinion (except 64 should be a bit higher)
Uh based?
