I literally only play shooters (and not console 'shooters' for cuadriplegic people like halo) and rts. I coudlldnt jump to console even if I wanted. Controllers are shit and they're just not technically apt to play any competitive game except fighting games. Funniest part of it all is keyboard is the superior input method for fgs.

Playstation has supported keyboard + mouse since PS4 FWIW. I still mostly use PC but if you want some lolz you can plug keyboard + mouse into PS4, go into any multiplayer FPS and absolutely clean up because no other console players think to ever do the same. It's fucking hilarious.

In my opinion, I think the PS5 is going to do well, like all mainline Sony consloses, but Nintendo Switch will still be selling consoles and games because the appeal of a portable game device will always be there.

The appeal of switch to me is the fact it has actual games, less cutscene oriented walking sims and they use anime art styles a lot. I use xbox for my shooter fix, etc. pc for league of legends.

The one having industry leading exclusives is unironically Nintendo. AC sold 22 million in under half a year, you have to be hardcore denialist to say otherwise. Yes, Sony has prettier ones and that's a no brainer due to hardware being miles ahead, but Nintendo does it's own thing and still makes it.
