The USPS is the best out of all of them. UPS is brown because they're shit, FedEx goes through your packages, etc. USPS is the only postal service that 1.) doesn't go through your packages and 2.) always arrives on time, at the same time, every single day. Using UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc are ALWAYS fucking miserable experiences.
Anyone who prefers these third-party private entities over the based USPS is a child who lives with their parents and doesn't use delivery services enough to know the difference. USPS is the motherfucking goat

Nope, I live downtown in an apartment. My mail gets here late, around 5pm, but it gets here at around 5pm every single day consistently.
Right now if your package arrives on time at all you're lucky regardless of where you live because of covid and orange man, but under normal circumstances I always have the least amount of trouble with USPS.

Gonna second this. FedEx is so so but is open later that USPS so it's good for emergency shipping. UPS basically has no advantages and is usually even more expensive than FedEx.

Amazon delivery in la made la extremely easy to deliver in. Any city with amazon delivery service takes a huge load off of the usps. If there is none then its hell

First class mail is more than "a stamp". It would cost you at least $4.5 minimum for something like an ssd, more depending on weight and size. Ssds are way too big to just ship in an envelope, youd have to ship them first class

I used to work for the USPS that mail machine was effectively our god when it wasn't working the job really sucked because we had to go through every single package by hand and there was only a few of us, I can't imagine how badly they're suffering with Trump flat out taking the machines away now I wonder how those people who get their medications feel about this move.

That's because UPS and FedEx drop off a lot of the packages they were suppose to deliver themselves to USPS.
So not only does USPS have to deliver at least half a ton worth of letters 6 days a week, as well as the packages shipped from their buildings, they have to deal with UPS and FedEx's sloppy seconds too because they're too lazy to do their job.

I got out of that nonsense. $18/hour is only worth it if you're at the counter, and those counter people will probably murder you before giving that up. Holidays were hell, and the $18/hour isn't even $18/hour because USPS actually pays you by the route which is calculated by hours. So one route might take you 6 hours and another route will take you 8. Yes sometimes this works in your favor as you can sometimes get a route done in less time, but if a route takes you 10 hours because you have a lot of mail that day? Still getting paid for 8 hours. They give you a little bit of a bonus but that's pretty much it. There's a good reason why most rural carriers look absolutely miserable while the counter people are dogs rolling in their own shit.
