havent played it is it good
Havent played it is it good
It's cringe and bad, the only people who like it had it be one of their first games.
BITCH ASS NIGGA
It's alright but there are a handful of better FFs
Cringe anime shit
>actual turnbased and not crappy atb
yeah i'm thinking its good
>>vrpg
It's good and it makes me nostalgic for the early 2000s. It's worth a playthrough imo
It's really special to me. Don't know if you are the type of person to enjoy it though.
Yes
The combat system is good, the problem is the story, dialogue, characters, and setting are abysmal.
Save yourself some time and only play:
FF
FF4
FF5
FF6
FF7
FF12
FF14
Best game ever made.
fpbp and /thread. It wasn’t my first FF by any means (I was 11 when I first played it and played 7, 8, and 9 before it) but I only can like it now due to nostalgia. Cutscenes are awkward, dialogue is cringe, VA is piss awful, but it holds a special place is my heart
>FF12
Fantastic storytelling and characters right here
Didn't say it was the best but some of the characters are good and the setting, combat, and aesthetics were awesome, especially when compared to the other FF titles released around it.
bro trust me 100 percent
play ff12 TZA on PC with the respec mod
that game is by far the best FF game if you are new and not cucked by toxic formulaic kids shit RPG where everything must be formulaic and perfect from your japanese masters
honestly ff12 got shat on so hard, its beyond retarded
FF fans are the dumbest shit ever
>shares multiple conversations with Rikku in the beginning
>awkward as fucking choking scene happens
>it’s cause you eat too fast!!
>awkwardly gets up, hops arouns, stretches, giggles
>hello what is your name?
>Rikku
>AHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAhha you understand HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHhhH
the pacing and animation is just so clunky and awkward
I know a lot of this can be contributed to the fact that it’s the first voice acted FF but why is the animation, and choreography so weird? It’s not just the voices the mannerism and the way they move is just weird
The biggest problems with the game are how overpowered Wakka is and the feeling of walking in a corridor. I can ignore most of the other stuff, but these two killed the game for me.
What a shitty take, what originally drew me to the game was the overarching water/ ocean theme the game has as I live close to the ocean. I stayed for Wakka, Lulu's massive knockers, blitzball, anda bunch of other stuff I can't think of off the top of my head.
That being said the actual gameplay didn't do anything for me really, I stayed for practically everything else.
>FF fanbase can handle lego wheelchair looking crossdressers in VII
>can't handle awkward voice acting and animations in X
This fanbase continues to befuddle me.
If I had played it for the first time today at 29 I would hate it but because I was a kid when I played it I can look past its flaws
voice acting ruined RPGs. Simple as.
how is wakka OP?
i keep hearing this, but how exactly is he op?
early game Lulu takes care of all the shit,
you need Yuna so there is no replacing her really unless you want to do some ultra autist challenge play
and finally there is tidus,
again, not really realistic to replace him
It is good, but it hasn't aged super well though.
This. I played the game up until blitzball then I quit. It’s the worst modern FF imo
There is an attack that bounces and hits another enemy, you can get a magic ball and basically cause status on multiple enemies, Wakka is one of the few who can hit flying enemies etc. This is what I remember, I played the game a long time ago.
the hd remake on steam or pirate is pretty good
pretty decent game
mages hit flying things easy
so do melee chars, but not so easy
flying things are usually weak, and if any of them are strong, you call the flying aeon to fuck things up
THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS
why doesn’t it have the ability to skip cutscenes, fast forward, or use no encounters/instant kill mode like the other FF remasters?
Yeah, first section is kinda boring but it's shoot up to about average midgame
