I had the game pre-ordered since last year.

Why are people so concerned with the melee combat?
First person melee combat is never good. The few times it's not bad it's only passable at best (yes that includes games like Dark Messiah, Dishonored, etc).
It's not like you should expect good combat from the devs behind Witcher 3 (which had weak combat).
It's basically a larger scale Deus Ex game (i.e. a shooter).

After witcher 3, I was going to buy cyberpunk no matter what.

For a game that is supposed to be balanced primarily around guns & shooting, it looks acceptable.
