It's a three-way tie between Contracts, Blood Money, and the reboot series for me.
Codename 47 aged like milk and doesn't even feel like it was designed to be a stealth game half of the time.
Absolution isn't quite as horrible as people say it is, but it was still a massive step down from the previous games and not something I'd ever want to revisit.
Silent Assassin is good but really janky.
Silent assassin
Numan.
Absolution. Anyone that disagrees is a nostalgia fag, contraian, or troll
I liked the alpha 2016 look the most
H2 looks really weird
Mr. Worldwide.
He looks weird because he's been on the run for who knows how long by then, NPCs comment on him smelling like shit all the time
blood money. no bullshit gimmicks like SA or contracts had but contracts is still great. I really don't like SA despite the praise it gets. the reboot hitmans are too goofy and the always online thing soils my liking of it. C47 is whatever. absolution was a generic cover stealth game. it's not a hitman game.
Only played the first four. Blood Money is the best overall, SA is the most cohesive, Contracts had the best atmosphere and gameplay, Codename had the best music.
>bullshit gimmicks like SA or contracts had
Que?
This is ironically so contrarian it's not even worth a (You), but I'll give it to you anyways.
the 2nd and 3rd Japan missions, the mission is India right before the penthouse, return to gentranno or whatever it's called, the terrible sniper mission with the moving cars. in contracts ive only done barkhov bomb and am stuck with a glitch but being forced to follow that guard and then run across an empty snowfield isn't fun. I get they were trying to be different but they failed at it.
what if... they are all diferent clones? all diferent clones model 47?
Blood Money and Contracts are like 10/10 games, they don't get the love they deserve.
contracts>blood money>silent assasin>>>>>>shit>>>>OCD nu-hitman
>variety is a gimmick
Filtered. The Japan missions were great. I agree that the Arab sniper level is annoying though.
am i the only one who liked absolution
because 2 is a the same fucking game so they had to change something to make it lool different
BASED
quickrundown on codename:47?
It has aged terribly but has a decent srory
silent assassin easily, absolution doesnt fucking exist to me
>that feel when no Hitman level with an opportunity where you can knock out Pitbull and have 47 sing one of his songs
47 canonically dies a hundred times before he is freed, but after you lose your first life all the alerted enemies rush to the level start and spawncamp you.
Ive played it so many times
I just go around killing everybody and its always fun
>Hope, Dakota level
>Stand next to cop
>"How you doin, buddy"
>2 seconds later
>"YOU WANNA BACK THE FUCK UP"
>OG hitman
why yes
Contracts
I liked it too, but it still has a lot of things I hate in it.
There are elements of it I like a lot, but it's painful to go back and play it again.
It's so sad that the contracts servers went down, I used to have a lot of fun doing and making contracts.
