600 BURGER BUCKS
>Whats inflation, precious
FIVE HUNDRED AND NINETY NINE US DOLLARS
>FIVE HUNDRED AND NINETY NINE US DOLLARS
FIVE HUNDRED AND NINETY NINE US DOLLARS
>FIVE HUNDRED AND NINETY NINE US DOLLARS
FIVE HUNDRED AND NINETY NINE US DOLLARS
>FIVE HUNDRED AND NINETY NINE US DOLLARS
Or, monster has no fucking idea what the price is they just guessed on higher end to make it seem they have a bigger prize pool
They always use the MSRP on giveaways which is usually about 30 to 40% higher than the actual price you will see in store.
it's a thing that hasn't kept pace with what people are actually paid in a world where the middle class are disappearing and people dont have the disposable income that they had in the 90s and 2000s and most of the microsotransaction success stories you here are the result of a few whales that are rich or who broke their bank buying excessive amounts and beg the question why companies think they can continue trends in the industry pursuing such a small group of people they can't possible support all the games made with them in mind.
Long story short, inflation is a thing, but people aren't making enough on average to make inflated prices work anymore. This isn't the PS4/Xbone launch year, and definitely not the PS3/360 launch year. This is a year with a worse economic crash than 2008's.
High prices excused by inflation are either an ignorance or willing blindness to the state of the world.
What was the PS4's MSRP?
Things are getting more expensive though
Inflation basically doesn't exist, but the american dollar is becoming less valuable
>estimated total price
>estimated
You are a fucking retard.
MSRP = manufacturer's suggested retail price
It is the price you see on stores, unless they're having a clearance sale or something.
This, I think this guy is reading too much into this.
Nigger you have no idea what msrp is.
The last 2 sentences literally proves they dont know. This guy just has some severe tunnel vision.
you have to include the price of the game dude
Die xbox, you don't belong in this world!
consoles should be even more expensive.
prove me wrong.
maybe early when they have no supply and there are always armed robberies and ebay scalping to get them
What happened in 2008?
cheaper than I thought it would be
So is it confirmed or more snoy wet dreams?
collapse in housing prices because of house flippers
You kidding? They're crazy for charging that much for halo monkey.
no it's not confirmed
Wages are keeping up with inflation though
Housing market collapsed because predatory bankers were giving huge mortgages to people that would never be able to pay them off combined with hedge fund idiots on Wall Street doing stupid shit with money
It's Snoy wet dreams again.
>manufacturer's suggested retail price have not been released to market at the time of print of these official rules
>"The 1st Prize and its manufacturer's suggested retail price have not been released to market at the time of print of these Official Rules. Any difference between stated value and actual value will not be awarded"
Hmm?
I was thinking 799.99 if the ps5 will be 599.99
>predatory bankers
The government literally forced banks to give subprime loans out for affordable housing measures. Then the government guaranteed those mortgages which encouraged banks to lend even more. 2/3 of all bad loans were required by regulations or bought by the government.
Fun fact, MSRP can change drastically before actual release. They have to state a price and used whatever initial price estimate the company put out was for legal reason. Thats it.
you need to stop huffing paint fumes. ibank drones were getting bonuses for transferring the risk for securities backed by bundles of mortgages onto suckers and insurers. this created a huge demand for these mortgages, which originators were happy to meet by being lax with lending, because they weren't holding the bag. this created a speculative opportunity for house flippers, who drove real housing prices in 2007 up to a point they wouldn't reach again until last year.
