People looking at their store.

Who cares? It's a free game.

publicity
the game is so crap they know it wouldn't sell so lets give it away
its not 90's anymore people dont cut the project lost anymore

its basically as bad as rome2
but unlike rome2 which had massive hype before the released
this game was free so people wont bitch about it as much if at all
you know cause its free

They get access to your computer.

Welp, the game crashed after I started my first battle. Fuck it.

Providing gullible gweilos for Tencent to spy upon

It gets them to download the litteral malware that is the EGS

Please talk about the game you cunts. 7.5 million people claimed Troy and the previous thread about it died 50+ posts in.

Come on Zig Forums.

Communists use laowai, not gweilo,

Game is pretty fun. Really needs blood though. Sarpedon and Odysseus are really fun

didnt realize it was only for 24 hours
i was gonna do it tonight fuck

the blood dlc you'll be buying later :^)

i was playing as sparta a bit. seems alright. the UI is pretty cancerous though especially for making buildings

epic noticed that despite lots of people tagging the free games to their account not many have actually downloaded the client and played any of them so they tried something a little more extreme.

LOOOOOOOOOOOL IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE WHOLE WEEEK XD

Why should I play this game over other TW games that have extensive modding scenes?

>7.5 million people claimed Troy and the previous thread about it died 50+ posts in.
wow its almost like people just grab free shit and then never play the games they grab

literal retards using their "service"

remember when you couldn't even buy games on steam?

people don't like epic because all of their games are on steam and are unwilling to move.
Giving away games builds up people's library even if they don't care about said games, makes them think they're more invested in the platform

I have 120 EGS games and only bought one. In a sale.

I have about 120 EGS games and only bought zero. I spent zero dollars. I haven't even played any of them, actually. I just claimed them in case I ever want to play them. But I probably never will, unless EGS suddenly starts supporting Linux.

Troy Total war really is crap

Crusader Kings 3 despite having shit battles will at least be more interesting

Why didn't we get Total War: Age of Mythology instead?

I member.

I also remember hating downloading this bloated ass interface just so I could play CS 1.6, lol.

Because those games already were free.

>7.5 people claimed the game
>Probably only 5% will actually play it
I guess Sega at least has a nice bullet point for their next financial statement.

No it wasn't.
The free games for the week are Remnant from the Ashes and some shitty Line Rider clone.

No idea, but been enjoying the hell of Remnant with a friend.
Got up to the 3rd world and am in love with the items and way you can upgrade.
It's easy, but I love that I can play my own way.

They think by doing it they are breaking monopolies.

>take games from EGS because they're free
>keep spending money on the supposedly monopolistic Steam because it has unmatched Linux support while EGS doesn't even give me the Linux copies of the Linux-compatible games in my account
>can't even be fucked to use the EGS launcher because I don't want to switch back to Windows
EGS is just reminding me how great Steam is, tbqh
