Now that the card game and Valorant flopped, will Riot cancel the LoL fighting game?

now that the card game and Valorant flopped, will Riot cancel the LoL fighting game?

They learned that they are not invincible and everything they release will not automatically become a big hit like Blizzard, fighting game is a struggling genre, it might flop even harder than the other two.

Yeah they're just gonna outright cancel a game they've poured years and millions in to developing because their other games didn't meet whatever asinine criteria you have for whether a game is successful or not.

Fucking off yourself.

>Valorant
>Flopped
What fucking source?

Let's turn this into a rosterfag thread.
Who should they add? Rengar and Nasus for me.

I just want a LoL universe MMO man...

who cares im not playing a game with characters designed to appeal to bugmen

>Valorant Flopped
its waaaay to early to say something like that
I would say its steadily gaining a player base in a very over saturated market
The fighting is being made by some actual competent developers who love playing fighting games
it's safe to say its in good hands

Just give us RPG

>designed to appeal to bugmen
But LoL has cunny to appeal to Zig Forums, too.

If you are cancelled from the FGC this is the game that you're going to have to play.

More like watch ChrisG defend and play this game for an eternity while you see him go bald and never get his 6 gorillion prize money.

weren't they also making some RPG game set in Bilgewater or something? what happened with that?

I don't hear anyone talking about it.
Apex legends (a game that is pretty much forgotten now) was everywhere for a few months.

They aren't putting annie or zoe in a damn fighting game.

They are really desperate to grow and diversify so they hope something sticks eventually

Wanna bet?

It's 6th on twitch right now, 4th discounting meme games that won't be sticking around

Its just a premade D&D adventure with some new subclasses.
I guess annie could be a puppet character with the bear and zoe would be the most annoying zoner ever. I very much hope they have the sense to not put an RNG character in a fighting game.

Valorant didn't flop

Fuck off like you know anything about games. Cunt.

>The fighting is being made by some actual competent developers who love playing fighting games
>it's safe to say its in good hands

>Rising Thunder devs
>Competent
>Love playing fighting games

No seriously, why are you expecting anything good to come out of them?

card game market is basically dried up well at this point after heartstone and shadowverse
people just had been remind again that card game just can't keep itself interesting for a long time without powercreep the crap out of itself
because they have to eventually released something but when they do its always some powercreep new card otherwise no one would care about it

And you do?

>Game is easy as fuck
>Gamer girl and fuckbois wants to play the game to play "their favorite character"
>Get trashed by mid-to competent players
>"Wow, this game is so toxic"
>Leave and go play something else

The cycle continue

Zig Forums has the most pleb opinions about fighting games. Shut up, faggot.

>Rising Thunder
>Bad

This is you

Valorant flopped? I dunno about that man, but the card game? Yeah, definitely.

I think he's talking about this
youtube.com/watch?v=ExaWvJEjb5I
Not sure if it is a rpg tho, seems more like a story/VN?

They said it's a srpg game and the Ekko one is a point and click adventure.

If you think for even a second that anyone in Riot has enough self-awareness and self-control to try and curb anything to recent trends then you are behind on your information about that company by 6 years.

LoL is an objectively garbage game and has been now for most of it's life-span because the developers refuse to address the absolutely insane mobility and power creep and instead keep on jacking it the fuck up with no end in sight.

The only champion back in 2014 that could legitimately insta-kill anyone was Rengar and that was if he had a minute-long setup for his abilities and was already fed.

Nowadays you have literally half the fucking top lane, the entire mid lane and a majority of the jungle all competing against each other in a constant "Who can I burst harder and faster under turret and still live?" dick wanking fest while the ADC and Support farm up for 15 to 20 minutes so that they can get their third item spike and auto-win any team fight by simply auto-attacking.

Point I'm getting here is that everyone fucking knew that LoR was going to fucking flop. That market had dried up years ago and they were clearly chasing a trend that had already dried up.
Valorant is most likely going to share the same fate as OW, a flash-in-the-pan spark that's going to kill itself due to retarded ass game design that can't be ignored after 50+ hours of gameplay and the playerbase starts bleeding numbers until it's practically unplayable.

The LoL fighting game hasn't even gotten a legitimate trailer so I can't tell you how that's going to go but if it's going to copy the current LoL game design and balance method of just buffing things until they're literally breaking the game and then proceeding to nerf them slightly so that other broken ass characters can outshine it then I promise you it's not going to last too long because unlike the literal overgrown ant-workers in China, people who play fighting games typically have standards that they play by.

What the fuck is Valorant

>Look at any of the streams
>Most of it is women
>Fake streamers with viewbots

Yea I think it’s dead

I honestly thought this was a trailer for the D&D spinoff, since that is also about fighting ghosts and shit in bilgewater

>all these people saying Legends of Runeterra flopped
Weird, me and my buddies are still playing it and we're keen as fuck for the new region.
I'm still finding public matches in my region (which is dead as fuck for gaming) pretty quick too.
Is the extent of Zig Forums's measure for determining if something's dead or not seriously just Twitch views?

Yes.

They have a lot in common. In fact, I think they are connected in some way and it probably also has something to do witjh Yasuo and Ahri going to Bilgewater. The absolute radio silence on that project is weird though.

The Ekko one is a 2D platformer

Wasn’t there a top downish dungeon crawler or something coming?

Allistar, Sett, Mundo no because drugs bad,Poppy and Udyr.

Holy fuck this.

user they have been shilling this game so hard that over the course of 3 months they have roughly an hour long video collage of nothing but shill vids and yet they can't even muster up enough interest to justify in-game events because literally not enough people play the game consistently enough to warrant the work.

Last week one they literally had a rioter practically begging people to go and play the game instead of LoL because they were going to start chopping the design crew apart since Q3 statistics seem to be noting that the game, while having a steady playerbase count, has almost no exponential gain in interest. In other words it's probably going to level out here soon within a few months and from then on it's going to slowly bleed out.
