It's not even a moral or technical illiteracy reason. I just find that being able to easily download all the games I could wish for somehow lessens my desire to actually play them. Where, on the other hand, I feel quite compelled to play a game to the very end when I drop my hard earned cash on it.
Last year I hacked my 3DS, and downloaded a shit ton of cia files and VC games for it. I'm talking almost hundreds here. To this day I have only beaten 10 games on it, and all of those were ones I actually bought.
Does anyone else have this problem? I could limit myself to a couple of games, but it still wouldn't change much for me.
Easy, it's because when you spend actual money on something you feel obligated to play it, else you will feel like you just wasted your money.
Blake Martinez
imagine playing a videogame purely out of buyer's remorse and not because you actually thought it would be fun
Lucas Torres
>Does anyone else have this problem? Nope, and I will forever thankful for that. I'd kill myself if I was such a spineless bitch ass.
Eli Flores
That's a common beginner mistakes.
That happens when you both have easy access and are also retarded or are very immature as a pirate. A smart and experienced pirate only pirates what he truly desires to play and doesn't build a digital collection of potential games he wants to play.
Ayden Smith
just because you can pirate the entire library of a console doesnt mean you should, just get the games youd actually play and you will feel just fine? you have to be extremely simple minded and brainwashed to not enjoy anything in life unless ure paying cash for it
Andrew Moore
That's how console wars got big >ooh new shiny console is out >it has good looking game, yay this product is worth my money >wait, the game isn't as fun as I thought, but I already spent money on it, so I should play it >the game was ok, but the investment wasn't worth it >what do you mean the other console is better? No, it's shit and my console is good because I spent money on it.
Leo Hill
If you're struggling to finish a game without dumping money into it, it means you're not getting enjoyment out of the game and only play it purely to justify that you wasted money on something you don't really wanna play
Jonathan Rodriguez
1st world problems, I remember when piracy was the only method to play console games because they weren't sold legally
if youre talking about simply lack of motivation then yeah, i just try to download a couple games at a time and tick them off like that
Caleb Sullivan
>wojak bojak lojak grojak slugjak brugjak I hope Zig Forums splits into even more boards
Christopher Hall
I had this same issue, but it also applied to games that I paid for; I would install like 20 things at once on Steam and end up never touching most of them. Just pace yourself on what you download and try not to have more than one or two games you plan on playing at once. Playing games is fun, trying to whittle away at a massive list of games is work.
Logan Morris
You must both be terribly poor in that case.
Christopher Reyes
sorry, but I had to get a VPN to buy a game from steam
Jason Collins
so basically you're a consoomer cant enjoy games unless you're giving money to a giant corporation
Andrew Flores
That’s because 99% of the 3ds library is garbage.
Connor Edwards
>$0.01 to $60 I'm afraid this image is about to be out of date.
Bentley Perry
Piracy is path of least resistance to get my hands on content, it's not even about the money. Many series, movies and games I want to see and play are locked behind streaming service subscription, game platforms etc. and I will nit be arsed to install more bullshit and pay for those
Levi Nguyen
>when he gets sued Do americans really...
James Thomas
>more I pay for X, the more I enjoy it And the old favorite of mine >I could afford X, therefore there's no way I was ripped off
Jaxson Ward
I don't want to pay $20 for what's usually bullshit.
Ethan Lewis
Honest question to all pirates, why do you do it?
Wouldn't you rather support the people who put their hearts and lives on the products you dearly enjoy?
Nolan Reed
If it's stuff like Pokemon, there's so many people buying it (hell, so many people buying TWO or more copies) that one pirate like me seriously won't affect anything Likewise if a game has stuff like expensive deluxe bonuses, several pirates won't match up against a whale that will buy the most expensive thing around
Colton Lee
Because I am from Eastern europe and it was the norm while I was growing up. There would be no way my parents could buy me games.
Now that I am grown up I still will only consider buying multiplayer games. Singleplayer are insta pirate. I feel no remorse or anything like that.
>Now that I am grown up I still will only consider buying multiplayer games. Singleplayer are insta pirate. I feel no remorse or anything like tha Well thanks for ruining gaming faggot.
Joseph Flores
My pleasure.
Noah Russell
see Almost every disc was actually a pirated copy. Before discovering piracy, I thought that copying the files from the "crack" folder to the game directory was the normal thing to do
Gavin White
This actually reminded me of that russian 1C or what ever distributor. Pretty sure all of those were pirated copies lmao. So even if you as EEfag bought something chances are you would still support piracy.
I regret nothing desu, Its honestly quite shocking how Westerners get mad about piracy...
Josiah Fisher
When you buy something it is something you explicitly wanted. If you pirate everything do you actually give a shit about half of them?
