"Heyyy. Nice work on that final tutorial... Say, why don't you fetch me 200 steel plates, 250 iron gear wheels...

"Heyyy. Nice work on that final tutorial... Say, why don't you fetch me 200 steel plates, 250 iron gear wheels, 500 electronic circuits, 200 piercing rounds, and 200 solar panels? What's that? You don't have blueprints for the last two? Better add 270 red science packs and 270 green ones to the list!"
Do autists really?

But it's fun to make big factory bigger

yes

People really defend this shit?

filtered by the tutorial?

Attached: sidekot.jpg (1024x1004, 59.51K)

Is the main game level-based as well?
I mean, what's the point if it all just goes away in the next level anyway?

its not

Is all criticism just filtering?
If someone complains about checklist fetch-quests in open-world RPGs, were they just filtered?

I literally got softlocked in the demo tutorial, didnt buy the game

No level, just go build big factory

>doesn't know how software is versioned

What criticism? You just quoted the tutorial and called people autistic.

Do tell what happened. I didn't think that was possible.

>Is all criticism just filtering?
no, but complaining about the essence of the game is.
>If someone complains about checklist fetch-quests in open-world RPGs, were they just filtered?
yes, because fetch quests are the essence of those games, and you obviously could not manage to get through that.

Pff I don't remember exactly, I remember I had to build some cogs or something. Then I had to build some building but the machines kept autoproducing and there wasn't any crystals, like the building material, to collect.

i literally dont see the problem
go play a nintendo game brainlet

You made a production line, but found out you need the intermediate material for something but it was all being converted into the finished product? There's roughly five hundred ways to fix that, but I do admit that if you don't know any of those (ie. you are a beginner) it'll be confusing and disheartening. It ain't no lock, the game's just not telling you how to fix that shit.

just build a bigger factory lmao

Yeah I tried some stuff and then figured the demo was just broken. I also wasn't really enjoying it as much as I thought I would so I just uninstalled it. I do get the appeal of it.

>he bothers with the tutorial
Never gonna make it. Hope you didn't buy it like the retard I know you are.

Are fetch quests the essence of those games? Do you think the developers are proud of them? Do you think players get anything meaningful out of them?

Honestly the tutorial feels a lot harder than it really is to me since I don't want to spend time and commit to making a big-ass efficient factory since I know it's just a tutorial and will end a few steps further down the production line.

>game where playing the tutorial is the wrong way to play

>game is incredibly fun
>barely anyone talks about it on Zig Forums and /vg/
explain

Talking about it ruins it. The entire joy of it is figuring it out on your own.

the main game is a sandbox with research progression, and to efficiently do research, you need to make your bigger factory into a biggererer factory, so go and upgrade the fucking factory

The game is like minecraft, when you reach the border of the level, the game generates more terrain for you

well whatever it was it's probably been fixed by now since the game is fully out of early access

YAMERO

This isn't busywork. Scale up your factory a bit and you'll have that shit in a few minutes.

embrace spaghetti, all hail CLANG

I swear I've spent about 15 hours on the tutorial.

It's also been around for 7 years. Zig Forums typically doesn't talk about older games unless there's been recent news, like a major update or an eceleb discovering it.

As for /vg/, it used to have a thread, but got combined into /egg/ to avoid getting pushed off the board by a million anime jpeg collector games. Haven't stopped by /egg/ in a while but I think they're still around.

christ what a faggot

>has a technical maximum for extending
bro i know i posted the fucked labs pic but your pic is cringe

Why the fuck aren't you both using productivity modules for your labs, do you hate free science?
