>You don't actually enjoy video games, it's just the easiest and more accessible form of escapism.
You don't actually enjoy video games, it's just the easiest and more accessible form of escapism
I daydream and fantasize mostly and video games help fuel that
i enjoy escapism
>it's just the easiest and more accessible form of escapism.
What about sleeping?
>it's just the easiest and more accessible form of escapism
>70$ for a game
>400$-1000$ for a PC/Console
Yeah right, i can do a lot of crack for that much
Escapism from what
>Have beautiful dream were something good happens.
>Wake up.
>tfw
Lie. I do enjoy video games. You don’t.
Cope. You didn't play any games today despite it being saturday.
>You are a better human being in your dreams.
Another lie. I played Factorio today.
And I enjoyed it.
Cope.
Games are fun and I have fun playing them
People who don't find them fun are drones trying to be accepted in a hobby
True.
Imagine playing vidya for escapism
No shit most of you fags here are depressed lmfao
Who doesn't have mental issues these days?
>the easiest and more accessible form of escapism.
streaming TV/movies is easier and more accessible
not true. I experience joy when I play old fps games.
If I wanted to devote my life to a pointless pursuit at the expense of my life I'd go into politics
>gf broke up with me
>play games
>completely forget about it during the heat of the action
>hits me again every time a match is over
Me.
>The Virgin Escapism
>The Chad Immersion
True, but TV/movies are a passive experience. With games you have an active role in your entertainment, which provides a feeling of power, of being important. In the game’s world you matter, in the movie’s world you don’t exist.
The only real alternative to vidya in this regard is tabletop games, and while those are more accessible from a technical standpoint they also usually require friends.
That doesn't make sense if I have been playing and enjoying video games since I was 2.
>Posting frogs on a Himalayan yogurt making forum.
>Not mentally ill.
Sure thing, buddy.
He's right up to a point.
Well, it's subjective ... in my case, I used to enjoy video games when I was just a kid.
Now I no longer feel the same with the current ones, I don't even enjoy them.
I think in a while I will finally give up this hobby.
But playing video games from my childhood makes me happy and I enjoy them quite a bit.
I think I'm nostalgic. :(
No I'm pretty sure I like video games.
Everyone has some sort of disorder these days. People succumb to weakness too easily. Thank god I didn’t need therapy for my depression and got on my own two feet.
Admittedly it took a rough break up, but damn am I never better; got a job I love, finally learning Unity seriously because I want to start developing my own vidya, I actually have been not smoking cigarettes for a month now (have been smoking for 6 years). Life is great if you want to be great.
Really helps if you have simply are tired of being pathetic, realise that almost all negativity you feel comes from yourself and that you simply need to move forward
lmfao basically this
well duh
where else am i going to shoot people in the head for the merest slight against me and my person
i actually enjoyed it desu
I disagree. I've enjoyed video games since I've limited them a lot more in my life. Going to the gym, going on runs, learning how to cook, and working eat up most of my time. But those 2-3 hours I do get to play vidya feel a lot more earned now.
