Honestly, good for him. That man must be ecstatic right now. Got Nintendo backing him for NMHIII, tons of people clamoring for ports of his other games and the Switch is hitting it's peak, been breaking records left and right the past few months. It's probably going to be his big break.

Sure but that's just history. Nintendo always does indies at this time and a general direct is necessary because we know literally nothing so it's not exactly insider info to know any of this stuff, giving them credibility over something anyone can know is idiotic

Sadly, history and trends are not something to take notice of this year. If that was the case, we'd have general directs in January and June as well.
