If a game has:
>extremely specific multiplayer achievements
>achivements that require you to complete the game multiple times

Then, the answer is no. Its pretty ironic that the Soulsborne games, which are considered to be "hard", actually have achievable achievements completely offline. Yes, most of them require you to complete the game 2 or 3 times, but at least NG+ changes things up and allows you to make choices you couldn't do in your first playtrough.

No. I play the game, then when I beat it, I look back and see how many trophies I got. If I'm close to 100% and I like the game, I might go back and get the rest. Otherwise, fuck it.

Right now I'm just a few achievements off from Risk of Rain 2 but I don't think I'll put any more time into it.

If I really enjoy playing the game and it doesn't seem like grindy bullshit, I'll go for the platinum. But any game with multiplayer achievements, things that require doing limited time events or that are purely RNG and luck based, or things that require obscene amounts of grinding (get 10000 kills, etc) and I generally don't even bother.

Kind of, but I make them up myself. Stuff like beating a game with minimal/no ammo usage, or not hurting anything in a game where you normally hurt stuff, or beating every single mod for a given game.
