I don't buy games anymore. Hell I'm too lazy to even pirate them. Not a single thing released in the last 5 years or so has made me say "Ooh I really want to try that." Nothing feels like there's love in it anymore. Maybe that's just the natural flow of things with such gigantic dev teams.

And yet the age of exclusives is coming to a close. Microsoft bowed out entirely and it's just Sony still clinging to the concept, just barely. How many games announced this year are true exclusives?
Also I don't count Nintendo, how that company is still in business is as strange to me as a fucking black hole.

So what are the exclusives? Spider-Man dlc, Horizon sequel, Ratchet and Clank, and a souls remake. None of these sound like unique experiences. Doesn’t sound like something worth buying a PS5 for.
