Service personnel are rarely seen in the Half-Life games, but can sometimes be spotted driving forklifts along the Black Mesa Transit System, wearing a green overall and a yellow helmet, and nicknamed "Gus". Some other tasks impossible to achieve by a human being (such as holding heavy crates or having to go through toxic materials) are also performed by robotic loaders.
low level clearance, essentially janitors
He drives the yellow cleanup robot in the intro section. He's also does it for free
Gus doesn't look very happy..
He drive and he jive, but ever since the resonance cascade he no longer alive.
The story is that he is in a really stupid and boring game for SJWs!
I wonder what Gus was up to when everything went to shit.
I like to thik Gus used to carry Xen bodies for the Bioscience department. But he just doesn't give a fuck.
Kinda like Otis.
>tfw no half life: Gus VR game where you transport cargo boxes around black Mesa
black mesa seems like it'd be really comfy to work in before the resonance cascade lads
yeah, all the little divisions you walk through were really cool and the little platforms you see in the train sequences look really chill
all of this buried in some random mountain, i wish i could eat at tesla's tacos bros
I just jumped into Half-Life multiplayer for the first time in like 13 years and got absolutely raped by some old sounding boomers who were casually talking about trucks as they instantly flick shotted me across the map while gauss jumping
HECU is probably one of the most badass military unit in videogames. Why didnt valve put any HECU survivor in later games seriously?
This but Day of Defeat
He's G-man. Think about it - Gus-Man.
It's a developer's opinion of a fork lift driver in Arizona or Texas or something.
All GoldSrc games are filled with boomers.
Sven Coop is all 30yo's memeing.
POINT CAPTURED
It's funny how zoomers think the DeGroot Keep theme is original from TF2 but it was actually from the British Victory theme in DoD 1.3.
I played a lot of DoD 1.3 because my computer couldn't run CoD
This is forever engraved into my mind

I put a solid 3k hours in that game, mostly because i made really good friends in it.
>No Rails on edges to prevent falls
OSHA would have a field day with Black Mesa.
If there's something Black Mesa didn't had it was employee security.
Today we're going to be talking about the character Gus from Half Life 1 after a Half Life 1 reference of Gus was found on the Zig Forums an image board. This HL1 reference was found on Zig Forums referencing Gus a HL1 forklift driver. For this reference to appear in 2020 during the release of Half-Life: Alyx really points out that there is a possibility that HL3 will be showing up this year its only a matter of time until Valve showcases HL3, Valve has been known for hosting ARGs and this reference to Half Life 1's character Gus is no difference will this be the shine of light on Valve's HL3? LIKESUBSCRIBECOMMENT.
Do they just assume BM personnel aren't afraid of heights? This shit doesn't even have railings.
People can now make income by simply talking about a product that may or may not come to fruition. Wack.
the facility was filled with scientists who they assumed wouldn't be dumb enough to jump
Snake oil salesmen and fortune telling gypsies have been around forever, user
I found this video of the aftermath from resonance cascade. It's not exact as in the game in the sense that it passes a few months between the disaster and the 7 hour war, but it gives a more "realistic" approach on how would the world would react to it.
