$600

> $600
> Phil Spencer himself saying they're not in it to sell consoles
> Halo is dead
> Keep pushing Gamepass

What in the actual fuck is going on with this company?

Attached: batarian.jpg (251x255, 12.81K)

what seems to be the problem?

>Microsoft sells what would be an expensive product
>doesnt want people to buy it.
Do they know they're supposed to be a competition for Sony right?
Gamepass is cool and all but if the library is trash then what's the fucking point?

>Own the most widely used operating system in the consumer world
>People still buy dozens of millions of their consoles amyways regardless of how good of a deal it is
I don't seem to understand the problem

its all in people tastes.

gamepass is already superior and the reason to go xsx before getting the ps5 for some people.

yes, people want to make it about console wars, its just a great way to continue gaming.

Why does he have tiger fur for hair?

Xbox is hardware that costs money to manufacture there buddy, Xbox is also a company that employees around 700 people that all need payments

1. Where are you getting $600 from?
2. Phil Spencer is saying the "consoles sold" metric isn't definitive because a console is just one way to connect to the Xbox ecosystem.
3. Halo is coming next year.
4. Game Pass is the best deal in entertainment.

Nadella is an "everything as a service" faggot.

Monster Energy fucked up and released the cash value of a giveaway that featured the Xbox Series X, and people were able to make a decent guess at the console's MSRP accordingly.

I saw that. It says right there in the next sentence of the fine print that the price hasn't been released to the public yet and that any difference between the "stated value" and the "actual value" won't be awarded. If they knew the actual value they wouldn't have to say this. It's a guess.

>decent guess
so it's fake, got it

Maybe you missed where I said "decent guess"

still not official, MS could very well change it and make it official.

example. if sony announced ps5 at 500, then ms could say they willl sell for 500.

however at least is 100 dollars less than what the ps5 was supposed to cost.

Microsoft as a whole has always
been more of a software company over hardware.

>”””ecosystem”””
What does this even mean? PC is not Xbox.
>gamepass is best deal
Getting games for practically free is not a sustainable business
Someone will have to pay for those games, how long do you think M$ will bankroll Xbox as they try to prove and impossible venture?

But it doesn't have any relation to the actual price. It's just what Monster Energy is using as a placeholder price, one they probably chose because it satisfies the high end of the range of what they think is possible.

Game Pass and xCloud is Xbox, and you can access those from a PC and an Android phone. As for Game Pass's sustainability, I'll let Microsoft worry about that. They seem to think it's sustainable.

Do you think the Monster Energy sponsorship giveaway team is “the public”? There’s no way in hell they weren’t told “599” by Xbox. They add the like about not released to public and not paying the difference because Xbox wants to cover their ass and use this as a way to test the waters. They are scared shitless to reveal the actual price, so they setup monster to take the fall.

I don't see any reason Monster Energy would have to know the price of the new Xbox, a carefully guarded secret that may not even be finalized yet. Monster even says in their boilerplate that there could be a difference between the "stated price" and the "actual price." That suggests they don't know it.

pretty much this, Let MS worry about it, indies seems pretty happy about it though.

MS does make pc games as well as accesories, however its think its mostly gamepass what they are talking about and since you can access their games on xbox, pc, or online with a pc browser, android phone/tablet well there ya go.

who cares, its not official yet. the same could be said about amazon france listinh the ps5 for 650 euros.

It's $500
$600 is the price with halo and taxes
$500+60 (halo) = 560
560 x 1,07 (7% tax) = $599

nuXbox has no identity, thats the weirdest part for me. Even with the Xbone they tried the ''entertainment center'' approach, Xbox would be the media center for the whole famility (you know, tv tv tv tv that backfired really bad but stiill), who is the Series X for? I have no fucking idea

Microsoft bought all these studios but most of them are stating to work on their IPs now and they bought some timed exclusivity and thats it

whats so hard to understand that its for the xbox gamer?

it has the familiar franchises, halo, gears, forza, plus the same old 3rd parties along with more 1st studios that provide different experiences, like the flight simulator guys, grounded and other shit.

I see xbox as more oriented into a gaming comunity, play wherever and whatever you want to play on be it, xbox, pc, tablet or phone. and gamepass to me has proven to be a great way to try out or play games you would otherwise ignore.

>xbox gamer
there is no such thing

there is and you care why?

>the xbox is for the xbox gamer
Whoa...

There really isn't. I'm convinced only Microsoft emp.oyees play and their families and friends. Xbox dead box.

seems pretty obvious yeah? but then you have user like >who is the Series X for?

Microsoft is selling Xbox as an ecosystem for games since it's speciality is selling software. Not really hard to understand unless you're really invested in company wars and being a retard.

sure thing user

It's nice that they're putting all the games on PC as well, but then I really question what the point of even getting an Xbox is at this point.

to have options, some people prefer to play on pc while others do on console.

contrary to what Zig Forums would like to have you believe, tons of people prefer playing on consoles.
