We had this thread already. Mewtwo is light because he's a glass cannon by design, he kills people just as fast as people kill him, if he were heavy, he'd be broken. If they were to make him heavy and try to keep him balanced, he'd have to lose his speed or power which would just make him boring as fuck like Lucario.
Mewtwo's moves are fast as fuck too, especially considering their range.

Pokemon in Smash never have and never will reflect their stats from the main games. Like, not even in the slightest. Squirtle is far faster than Charizard. Pichu is faster than Pikachu. They just balance their stats the same way they do for most characters: little = fast and weak, big = slow and strong.

Is it really that bad an air game? His fair, uair, and nair are all good. What bugs me more is that he has absolutely no super armor. You'd think with being on the lighter side of the heavies he'd have a bit more to him that an edge. If projectiles didn't constantly send him into the stratosphere so things could juggle him to hell and back he'd not get stuck in a bunch of aerials and get sent to 60%+ without being able to do a damned thing.
