more time and coding went into making games
$100 in 1972 is $620 today.
Didn't the NES also costed $100 ?
>Costed
Brainlets all around me
I wonder how long to took to make these first cartridge games
>what is 48 years of inflation
Monkeys cost hella money, how do you think they code games these days? professionals? nah, apes and clowns
that's the correct way to spell it tho
Is the concept of inflation completely alien to you?
Inflation
The value of money decrease over time
100 dollars in 1972 is like 600 today
>What is a concept that doesn't exists and was only created to keep you poor
>I don't understand economics
It's not an invented concept, it's a natural concept.
So this is where the thread is going...
yeah down with the system! fight the man!
well it was really something back then. you could move things on a fucking tv screen. how awesome is that?
>what is inflation
Not sure if bait or just retarded american
no user, "cost" in past tense is still "cost".
An afternoon
I mean, technically it can be both
"The past tense of cost is cost or costed. The third-person singular simple present indicative form of cost is costs. The present participle of cost is costing. The past participle of cost is cost or costed."
Jesus crhist is this what there teaching zoomers in school these day's???
I feel like I'm slowly getting the dumb brain hurt frim watching too much Zig Forums

>Trying this hard to fit in.
$100 in 1972 is worth $619.86 today
I swear to God this whole thread is going to be debating if it's Cost or Costed
>costed
You wouldn't know what they taught in school having never completed your schooling. Cost is correct.
Wtf is wrong with that? Thats how my mom teached me in home school, so you know my education is way better then you public school itiot's.
Welcome to the internet.
yeah, i'm amazed it hasn't degenerated all the way down to "costco"... maybe the next decade
costedned
>costed
Cringe ESL
>b-but TECHNICALLY it’s correct
I said, cringe ESL
what do you even MEAN? It's just two ways to express past tense
THAT'S GONNA COSTYA
No. You use costed for estimations or as another word for determined, only use it when 'out' is used/implied after it.
btr.michaelkwan.com
>All these idiots hooked up on cost/costed
>they still say fishes, mouses, deers, persons and octopuses respectively
Buncha hypocrites
>home schooled
I'm sorry.
That was back when wages actually fell in line with inflation though. Nowadays as the value of the dollar falls wages don't increase to accommodate for it and that's why quality of life has fallen drastically and suicide rates are skyrocketing.
That you?
can't tell if baiting or just retarded
That's the fault of unions not bargaining good enough
>$100 then is like 500 now
>The "games" were just plastic sheets you glued to your tv screen and moved dots around behind it
>teached
TAUGHT.
TAUGHT.
T A U G H T.
Your mother clearly TAUGHT you nothing.
a console was sci-fi luxury back then but the "games" costing 5 bucks was shameless. also using "costed" makes you retarded.
If you really have to ask you're fucking retarded
You was baited retarder
Kind of right but wrong. There has been a constant push to weaken unions so that they appear worthless and less people join them. The corporations want you to think "right to work" laws are good for the workers. They want you to not be in a union so they can exploit you.
Because the games only had a couple lines of code and no graphics other than a single dot on screen, and the "graphics" were just physical overlays you'd put on your TV screen. It probably just cost them a couple of dollars to develop a single game.
You're goalpost moving. Stop.
>crhist
"Christ"
>there
"They're"
misstakes like those are a diamond dozen. No need to take the morel highground.

Allow me to play doubles advocate here for a moment. For all intensive purposes I think you are wrong. In an age where false morals are a diamond dozen, true virtues are a blessing in the skies. We often put our false morality on a petal stool like a bunch of pre-Madonnas, but you all seem to be taking something very valuable for granite. So I ask of you to mustard up all the strength you can because it is a doggy dog world out there. Although there is some merit to what you are saying it seems like you have a huge ship on your shoulder. In your argument you seem to throw everything in but the kids Nsync, and even though you are having a feel day with this I am here to bring you back into reality. I have a sick sense when it comes to these types of things. It is almost spooky, because I cannot turn a blonde eye to these glaring flaws in your rhetoric. I have zero taller ants when it comes to people spouting out hate in the name of moral righteousness. You just need to remember what comes around is all around, and when supply and command fails you will be the first to go.
Make my words, when you get down to brass stacks it doesn't take rocket appliances to get two birds stoned at once. It's clear who makes the pants in this relationship, and sometimes you just have to swallow your prize and accept the facts. You might have to come to this conclusion through denial and error but I swear on my mother's mating name that when you put the petal to the medal you will pass with flying carpets like it's a peach of cake.
