I have one of these. It's not my favorite controller, but it's a tremendous improvement over the official N64 controller. The joystick's not quite as good, but it is plenty good enough and I much prefer the grip and overall layout. I do prefer the official controller for the few N64 games that use the d-pad, like Mischief Makers, but otherwise the Retro Fighters controller is way the fuck better. Would recommend. I'll probably also get the Dreamcast one since I'm not a big fan of the official DC controller either.

Agreed. For the sake of convenience, I use a Dualshock for SNES games, and a Hori Fighting Commander for Genesis games. It's close enough and I enjoy it, but I would prefer having something closer to the original controllers.

I had this. We hated it and called it “the duff pad”, and you had to use it if you lost a game.
