This is truly obnoxious. Why the fuck vines must behave in such a retarded way.

what game is that? looks horrible.
let me guess: early access indie pixel shit?
I suggest you stick to baby Metroidvanias, like Hollow Knight.
Go back suck AAA cock.
>what game is that? looks horrible.
Blasphemous
it is pretty horrible, although I haven't given it a second chance with the new update yet
dude just go back until the first vine recedes and then do the jump quickly before it comes back down.
It's just so finicky for no reason. Not only vines behave in spastic way they also are an eyesore because they never match the environment.
The DLC improved some older areas that looked bland immensely, tho shit areas like the frozen peaks and the charred face cathedral are still shit areas.
Jump from the lower blood platform when the wind is blowing right, zoomie.
agreed, hate this "made in paint" trend
Just jump over before that first one closer to you grows down. It ain't that hard bro.
>no no no you must WAIT before the wind is right
>noo you must WAIT before the lava stops dropping
Obnoxious areas with mechanics that provide nothing but annoyance.
>oh cool, free dlc
>you just get teleported to fight 1 boss 3 times
yikes
There’s one that you have to drop down from one area and hope the vine grows fast enough to catch you. It’s so hit or miss your best bet is to throw a range attack in air to stop your fall and give it more time to grow.
Lava?? Anyway don't give up kiddo, I'd be annoyed too if I was really extremely bad at the easiest parts of the game, but you'll improve with time.
>Why can't I just rush through the area without doing anything?
>Why is there a challenge?
Why are you playing video games again? lol.
>that hat
lol
>Be the penitent one in silence
>Being afraid to take a leap of faith
Frozen Peaks is pleb filter, I did it first and it was fun
>DUDE, LE SKELETONS AND LE SPANISH GUITAR
This game is corny as fuck
Castlevania Night of the Moon.
Does the DLC change the ending anyhow?
Does it boost the sword cores or magic in any way? They sucked dick originally.
Did they improve the charging sword attack? It was a piece of shit.
no
no
no
>complaining about free DLC
>here's a plate of steaming hot shit
>urgh, why the fuck would you even think abo-
>it's free
>NOMNOMNONOMNOM AAAH DELICIOUS
BASED
gitgud you useless faggot.
The game is easier than on launch. Collision boxes were fixed so you no longer have awkward moments where your character refuses to jump from a ledge and just walks straight into spikes.
Also THAT pendulum room was nerfed not once but twice. First they put breaking platforms inbetween all platforms so getting hit by a pendulum didnt mean instant death. Then they added a shortcut which completely skips the whole pendulum room after you've cleared it once. The game overall is lot easier than it was 1.0. New DLC boss and its 4 forms wasnt too hard either.
>these areas are just obnoxious, all levels and zones should be the same with no variation or environmental hazards.
Most games are corny.
Yep, Blasphemous 1.0 was pretty good, but current Blasphemous got casualized and is much easier. Same will happen to Sekiro with the new recording feature that allows ghosts of other players to show noobs what to do for 30 seconds. The human species as a whole and the current semi-global culture is one of weakness, it produces human trash, weak, losers and worthless, that is why they want causalized and easy games, they don't comprehend the proper definition of a game, there needs to be a proper risk of failure, if there isn't, then it isn't a real game, it just another interactive movie casualized piece of shit.
Fuck blasphemous developers and fuck From Software for casualizing their games.
>Does the DLC change the ending anyhow?
No, it adds an extra area with extra boss.
>Does it boost the sword cores or magic in any way? They sucked dick originally.
They still suck dick for the most part, but some of them like the "Gain health from kills"-one are invaluable with New game Plus extra challenge modes you have to choose from.
>Did they improve the charging sword attack? It was a piece of shit.
Yes, they buffed it. They made it so that its change to stun a target is very high as long as you time the attack right (dont hit with the tip of the sword, but time it like as if you're doing an anime slash dash). So you get a semi-reliable tool to make those fatality kills. Its useful against some enemies with high health because they dont have to be low health to get stunned. You can use it to fatality kill standard enemies very easily and some of the enemies that previously didnt have a fatality but now do have one.
I didn't think 1.0 was all that hard. It was unrefined, but not particularly difficult. I haven't played it since the game came out, but even if the game got easier tightening shit up makes for a better game. If they make a sequel or apply what they've learned to what they do next I think it could be something legitimately special. Blasphemous has its issues but it was a lot better than I expected.
Yeah, IMO they didnt have to nerf the pendulum room so hard, the shortcut after clearing it once wouldve been enough by itself. They just fixed all the hitbox- and collision box issues from launch. No more walking into spikes when you wanted to jump over the pit, and no more getting hit by those bell dudes even when you thought you jumped over them. And no more not grabbing ladders when you're clearly touching them.
NNNNNNAAAAARGGHHHH WHY ARE THEY MAKING THE GAMES EASIER THEY NEED TO BE SUPER HARD BUT NOT TOO HARD SO I CANT BVEAT THEM BUT HARD ENOUGH SO I CAN BRAG ABOUT BEATING THEM AAAARGHGH NOOOO REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
