why does Zig Forums have such a hateboner for War Thunder

it functions great as an arcade-ish sim game, and lets you fly like a bajillion planes. i feel like the hate comes from zoomers who want to fly jets right away

they need to combine all three modes already.
boats is ignored and planes is boring with out ground to attack, but to play planes in ground requires starting out as a groundshitter.

My only problem is the grind really.
People who complaing about balancing are fags who cannot into flanking and wants to take on enemies head on.

Ground players don't like getting ganked by a plane they have little chance against

Gepard and OTOMATIC are literal fun killers for planeniggers, people don't use them because they're lazy.

thats why they need to combine everything togeather.

If planes need to spend 10 minutes flying from takeoff to where the tanks are it will be more balanced. Particularly with enemy planes trying to intercept them or carefully placed water for boats to be on to try and shoot them down.

They need to make a huge planetside style map with lots of objectives to fight over. The ground vehicles are required to actually hold and fight over the ground. Planes can be restricted by travel time and needing to arm and refuel. Boats can be incredibly powerful but very limited in where they can be.

In reality every soviet tank could be produced multiple times over for every western idealist tank, optimally leveraging the industrialized nature of modern war. Yet this game does not give the soviets multiple times the team size.
This game then is a fiction, a fantasy imagining a world not as it is but as it would be if the idealist concepts of individualism were true.

Does anyone else hate it when penetration values and missile damage get nerfed for gameplay reasons? I like my shit to be as close to real life as possible

Only happened to me once, but i got hit by a rocket vertically in the crews hatch, but some sort of glitch happened that made the rocket to a literal 90° turn and it registered my tank being hit from above, thus killing my crew.
