I fucking hated Skyward Sword but I can see the appeal of remastering this one since it's tied down by a peripheral not a lot of people owned.
Giving it a more traditional control scheme would help it reach a larger audience.

The CDi games are living legends with more love for them than a vast majority of the games, excluding the heavy hitters. Meme appeal is stronger than anyone realizes. Zelda 2 and Triforce Heroes aren't routinely brought up, even if they are worse. Zig Forums is in love with its hatred for Skyward Sword.

The time desert is cool but the first thing I always remember from SS is the great tonal shift in the ancient cystern dungeon. Oh and the silent world tear grabbing stealth sections.

The repetitive nature of its outer dungeons and one boss is what ruined it. And of course Fi. The story, characters, bosses, and art direction is far better than any other Zelda game. Most of the actual dungeons are better aswell.
