Those characters are still in the game user. Only 2% of the game has been shown.

They realized Witcher 3 was a fluke and they couldn't sell a new franchise based on personal merit alone

COME TOUCH ME LIKE I'M AN ORDINARY MAN

lol what

it's just concept art, bro.

I remember being so fucking hyped after that trailer, only to let down over the years,

That's what CDPR are, trend chasers. Witcher 3 was a perfect storm of capitalizing people's desire for high fantasy (coming off of Skyrim) dating sims (since Mass Effect had just died finally) while coupling it with hype from game of thrones and the marketability of souls combat. Without all those elements perfectly lining up it wouldn't have been nearly as successful. Cyberpunk spinning on its nose tonally was CDPR realizing they would never be able to replicate that with a nearly original idea

They took a less cyber, more punk direction

>If it had been true cyberpunk the game would have failed misserably
>they made it a normie friendly cyberpunk that think synthwave and neon lights are cyberpunk
>will make millions of dollars
sellouts, but they will be rich sellouts

if you establish a trend then you are by definition not chasing it dipshit
they made the wither into what it is now from a slav cult classic
now theyre bringing cyberpunk back to life after bladerunnefags basically keep it dead for years
youre illogical and an idiot

normie friendly
alright sure

Name a single thing that Witcher came up with by itself

I remember when they said the gameplay would look like that

Attached: 1535619868000.jpg (632x403, 30.66K)

is that meant to be an example of a complex character system?

what does it have to do with anything?

white men bad!

>if you establish a trend then you are by definition not chasing it
Name one

name a more complex one and we'll be set

Skyrim

>attributes
>skills
>perks
>individual stat derived from the player's choices
Have you never played Fallout before?

It's literally a worse version of mass effect's class system

Too problematic.
This trailer came out before 2016.
Can't allow cool thing anymore.
Its Punk with some cyber, not Cyberpunk.
Stop being entitled.

alright
the overwhelming dedication to telling a story with consequences that catch up to you long after you made a choice
implementing complex situations with no clear bad guy, presenting both sides fairly
treating the player like a grownup, not that you know how that feels
i could continue but ...
youre going to dismiss all of those inb4 i dont give a fuck, just sayin

I would have bought it if it looked like this
but alas
now I won't even pirate it

Telling a story was not a trend started by Witcher 3

lol nope
on par but doesnt allow you to increase your skills by playing
no

cmon, figure something out, im waiting

>doesn't allow you to increase your skills by playing
Ah, so you never played Fallout or TES. Good to know I'm dealing with a retard.

Damn is that Owlman?

no, thelling a story IN THAT WAY was started by witcher 1, also a CDPR game
keep crying

Makes sense people defending cyberpunk are people who plug their ears.

So the only part of the game that was original was the story?

no, but i have already given you your 1 unique thing
now its your turn to admit that you were wrong, conditions are met, the time is right
go for it

Yet the starting telling in witcher 3 was done well enough that it made someone as big as Ubisoft change their whole design for Assassins Creed and get inspiration from the way witcher 3 did starting telling in an RPG setting.

Whether if the new assassins creed are good or bad isnt the question, its the fact that they changed it to be more like W3. And they seem to be doing successful sales wise too.

Nothing. It was just a side-quest idea they showed off because it looks cool.

>It's more like a Tarantino approach.
the absolute STATE of cyberpunkfags

wow you're a moron

youtube.com/watch?v=qtvD7aJSbxI

tarantino is bad now or what?

don't die bro

>wow everyone loved our trailer
>NOW LET'S DO THE OPPOSITE

Attached: 1597353528403.gif (220x220, 68.7K)

lol lets have this tread again

Attached: 1597662293520.webm (800x800, 1.94M)

that looks just awful
I'm not even talking about it from a gameplay standpoint (though that's awful too), but the washed out textures and the hideous character models make me want to vomit

Desperate

Everyone loves the Trauma Team, too. Shoudl they scrap the game and make a future paramedic simulator? yes but they won't

I hope these outfits are in the game for V to wear. Both the cop outfit and the crazy woman outfit. It'd suck if the only clothing V could wear were jackets.

To be fair the teaser trailer wasn't intended for us. It was meant for investors and create interest for potential employees. Back then witcher 3 hadn't released yet and they weren't as big of a studio.

there are tons of shitty neon synthwave cyberpunk games

>Shows generic skill tree from any triple A game

Seek help

So nothing was original or trend setting

nigger
