Never even started- Butterfly took me fucking hours but never had any problems after that. I don't understand how people can even get to Isshin without having become proficient at the game by fighting everything else up to that point. I guess Firecrackers go a long way.

I couldn't stop hesitating because the speed of his attacks completely change between phase 1 and phase 2, that dumb fucking spear throws off my timing entirely.

The black Mortal Blade cuts open a doorway to the afterlife, and Isshin climbs through. Genichiro knows Isshin is the only chance Ashina has of repelling the Tokugawa Shogunate and Isshin decides to use his second chance at life to have a sweet fight with Sekiro.

I only have DoH and Isshin left, and the lag sponsored by launch day Piss4 at the homo demon made me RRRREEEEE too many times before calling it quits that time. It took me until yesterday to hear that you don't even have to kill DoH, so now I'm ready to beat my head against that Isshin wall.

The trick to Demon of Hatred is fighting it like a Dark Souls boss. Unlock your camera and dodge attacks instead of parrying them. He's huge so your safest spots are usually right underneath him, just remember to jump out the way of attacks instead of blocking them. Good luck, you'll get into the swing of things and all 3 lifebars will be gone before you know it.

I appreciate the pointers, but I really was doing it like that. I'm not exaggerating when I say the fight's at ~15 or less FPS for me, and the input delay is noticeable. Shit's just really frustrating when coupled with the fuckhuge hitboxes he has.
