Looks great as a tribute to smrpg
Looks pretty cool. I like the art style, kind of like an in-between of toy/claymation and the pre-rendered stuff from that era. I like how the attack animations echo SMRPG, but perhaps a little too heavily for stuff like the lightning attack lol.
It looks like a shitty version of happy dungeons.
I agree some of it looks generic, in particular the playable party members shown off, but the price seems pretty cheap so I don't mind giving it a shot myself. If the gameplay is decent enough I think I can get some enjoyment out of it but who knows.

Mashing X to do an ability in combat looks cool in a video but it's rough when you have to do it the 130th time in-game
