Gaming curved monitor worth it or not worth it

I want my display to be flat but there's barely any worthwhile flat monitors anymore. everything's curved now. is it that good?

go and try one in store

I don't understand the point. At least widescreen serves a purpose.

I feel like it gives you a disadvantage and distorts your aim.

Also it's only worth it if you are buying 27inches and above

It's just another shitty gimmick to make absolute retards spend more money for no reason.

>everything is curved now
No? Plenty of nice monitors dont have a curve.

“They use curved monitors, CURVED)

CURVED JERRY

>gimmick
No it's not, and if you had ever used a curved monitor you'd know that. It's most important for 34"+ VA panels where viewing angles aren't great

Curved screens are basically the same price or even cheaper than normal screens?

It's something that makes sense with ultrawide screens.

Thoughts on LG 27GL850-B?

>curved 16:9
I really really hope this industry trend fucking dies before I upgrade. I just want a flat fucking panel.

here we go

WHAT THE

This stupid shit makes me glad I never left 24” 1080p. Save that money for multiple holidays a year.

just looked up prices where I am and they're not

>glad I never left 24” 1080p
Same but it's already making me sick how fucking small it is. I wish I could go 27" or preferably 32" but 1080p looks like shit at that size, and if I go 1440p or 4K my 590 will not be able to handle games at native resolution.

Living is suffering.

>needing a monitor that big

Is this you?

>pull monitor closer
>problem is solved

I guess it just werx for me because my eyesight is rubbish.

Its ok, just a silly gimmick. At this point they dont even cost more. I like my 32" curved and there was nothing not curved comparable. The samsung c32hg70 is a beast so i can only assume the G7 will be even better

Life goals

I like mine. I wanted a dual monitor setup and figured might as well get an ultrawide to avoid the bezel

Dude, Where's My Inheritance?

>Have dual monitors
>No monitor arm installed
>Have them perfectly alligned
>Move them a little and the whole feng shui of the battlestation is fucked
>Also the hinges are too fucking tight and vertical adjustment is a bitch because they never end up at the same angle
Nah I'm not touching them. It's the little things that piss me off the most.

Aint that bad user. PPI is a meme. 32" 720p is manageable, 1080p is good, 1440p is amazing and 4K that small I've never seen. Bottomline is, you still get used to it and have a good time with the content.

I don't see the point in dual monitors at home. I use them at work though.

lol are you a homo

Sounds like you're the perfect candidate for a 32:9 display.

I fucking wish I had the money for that

Lmao that was me I had no monitor so I used my tv for years. Had to sit a mile away. Just set up my new monitor today Feels good man.
