What do you guys think of the remake demo? Feels like pro skater 3 with better animations and pro skater 1 and 2 levels. Only a retard would not like this. Personally I think it is probably...objectively speaking that is... The most BASED remake ever made

>reduce colour by 80%
>Make everything 40% darker so they can show off their fancy light pouring in through windows and casting shadows
>Dust particles everywhere becusse REALISM

We all know it's a meme and everything but this is so fucking souless. Fuck off.

>>reduce colour by 80%
Pro skater 1 had like 3 colours in total but ok..

>Make everything 40% darker
Did you even play it kek it's a lot brighter than original warehouse

>Dust particles everywhere becusse REALISM
Abandoned warehouses have dust deal with it

>souless
Thank god, now I know you're one of the retards

Not gonna check that gameplay until the game comes out. Are there any new levels or just pure 1+2? Also not hyped after I heard interview with one of the creators of the original.

New levels not sure, new secrets on the maps is what I know for sure. What interview?

I don't really remember anything from it besides the urge to burn down Activision HQ

This is quite literally the most braindead post I have read to day, and I've been to the SF5 crying thread already.

Am I retarded or are lip tricks wayy harder than they used to be? I feel like if you're not perfectly heading to a lip at 0° you'll grind instead. I don't remember having this problem in the past

I'd say that it plays more like 4 with the spine transfers and manual/grind transitions, with wallplants and acid drips from THUG. I just wish that they added front/backflips from THUG2 but whatever.

I'm a bit worried about the level design with these newer mechanics. When playing THUGPRO, the levels from the first two are the most boring to play because they don't have enough stuff in them. They should have added more rails and opened up more areas like THUG2 did with the warehouse. I'm also hoping for a THPS3 DLC expansion, that had some of the best levels.

Overall, I'm happy with the demo though. It plays perfectly, looks good and sounds good. Much better than THPSHD.

Can't wait for the full game it feels like a pseudo THPS4 there are some things that are off about the game like some animations and pivots but overall the game is decent. This screenshot is from the CAP editor Skate Heaven theme

I think Activision have finally learned what fans actually want in the past few years with the Crash and Spyro remakes.

This actually looks and feels like a Tony Hawk game unlike all the Robomodo shit.

>BASED
can this meme fucking die already? it's just as pathetic as saying epic. also if you pay money to activision, you're mentally retarded.

cringe

I've had more fun with a 2-minute skate sesh than I had with all of Ghost of Tsushima, if that tells you anything. Like both, but THPS is a good reminder that gameplay makes the game, hands-down. Can't wait for the game to launch, me and my buddy are gonna play it at his place.

>implying I preordered a fucking game so I could try a demo

I mean...I did...but fuck you for implying that.

>it's another post by a user who doesn't realise that video games, especially sports ones, have ALWAYS chased realism but were restricted by hardware

Literally get any other console or build a PC, Switchlet. I really don't want to be reading your sour grapes faggotry for another generation.

Demo is incredibly fun. Can't wait for the full game.

and then hopefully fuck

that's the recipe for anything marketed at teenage demographic. movies too. muh grimdark grittyreal aesthetic bro

>Skate Heaven theme
MY DICK AHHHHH

i was expecting it to play like 3 when i heard they were including reverts but was surprised at just how many elements they took from games beyond that, basically felt like THUG1 if anything. the fact that you can switch to THPS1 or THPS2 control schemes on the fly is interesting but has me wondering what they're going to do about the goals. the goals would need to pretty similar if you were wanting to play with 1 or 2's control schemes so they can still remain beatable, but they're all going to be a little too easy with this games default THUG style controls.

>Yellows, oranges, bright browns
>Grind sparks on board

>Grey, grey, grey (red pipe)
>No sparks

Can you pirate the demo?

Wait if you want to play on PC you have to get it from epic's store. Fuck that lmao. Just gonna keep playing Skater XL.

So this takes place in the timeline where Tony Hawk won against Bam, right?

Just pirate the game

it will have denuvo so have fun waiting 2 years for a crack

They are increasing score goals. In the game's code, there's a goal list for Sick and Legendary scores. There's also going to be skater specific goals.

>there should be sparks doing a slide not a grind
fucking retard

How do you slide on a pipe with giant grooves like that in the remake? It's like the Devs have 50 IQs.

It was a fucking smooth rail in the original for a reason and now for someone unknown reason they've replaced it with a literally unskatable pipe. Retarded. Just goes to show they have no fucking clue what they're doing.

I forgot that Vicarious Visions made the GBA versions of Tony Hawk games.
They were actually really good.
