Tried playing PES 20 yesterday and it's shit. All the players dribble like they've never played football before, you can press shoot for a first-time shot as a cross is coming in but your player will still take one or more touches before deciding to shoot, and more bullshit. I've never seen Messi take such heavy touches; sunday league players have better fucking ball control

I've been replaying PES games in the last couple of years, doing several runs through Master Leagues and I can tell you that PES 6 is indeed the best one.
I can also tell you that PES 2011 is where they went to utter shit, 2010 is actually one of my favorite ones.

They're completely different genres that appeal to different people. We played the old PES games for the Master League mode, now people play FIFA for Ultimate Team.
I'm probably the minority but I very much prefer the old PES games to the new FIFA ones.

You can always let people mod the licenses in. I think the problem with PES modding is that they have to add a lot of players and teams, meaning each modder has its own way of rating players. If it was like Football Manager, fake player and team names but real ratings, it would be far better.
Besides, I think FUT with PES 6 gameplay would be awesome
