you can't lose. it's a fucking racing game and no matter if your last or first place the announcer tells you how great you are and the race is marked as won. i feel like the only person on earth who cares. this was my hope of finally having a decent arcade racer this gen and now you can't fucking lose. it's a game. pure vidya. whats the point? where does this end? will racing as a genre die? does every genre reach this kind of endgame?are we destined to play soulsclones and ugly indie games for the rest of our lifes?
It's been almost 2 years and i still can't believe this game exists
>play soulsclones and ugly indie games for the rest of our lifes?
yes
Races and events don't mark as complete on your map unless you place top 3. You also need top 3 for points to win championships.
You also get more fans and money for doing better.
Did you play the game?
set it to hard, are you complaining the game is too easy while playing on easy?
>will racing as a genre die?
racing as a genre is sim games, not "arcade" stuff
then why was first racing game in the arcades?
"the first" isn't relevant to now
Arcade racers already died, there are only sim and simcades now
>he isnt playing with the AI on max difficulty
Also, just because you're told you did well doesn't mean you actually won dumbass.
maximum cope
OP obviously needs a big "FAIL" sign on top to tell him he hasn't won with a fat Italian plumber saying "Mama Mia"
It sucks that Forza turned into zoomer-appeal shit.
I cringed whenever I finished a race due to the Fortnite tier-cusotmizations and dances. Not to mention the game is piss easy for the most part, even "Unbeatable" drivertars are easily doable if you choose enough laps to give you time to overtake them.
If the next-gen Forza follows the same route I'll drop this series entirely, doubt we would ever get close to Forza 4 territory anyway.
Should've stuck with Forza Horizon 3. Get it before it delists soon.
yes i tested it multiple times with different races to make sure. last place still gets gold but slightly less money, which doesn't really make a difference.
>set game to hard
>become deadlast
>HOLLY SHIT DUDE I'VE NEVER SEEN A RACE LIKE THIS OMG OMG YOUR SO GOOD
>get gold anyway and unlock next race
whats the point?
u have to use real money to buy cars if you don't get any from races
I'll return to the game when they'll add season changing for offline play.
For now, i'll stick with Horizon 3 (who had better map and dlc btw)
Unlocking races means you're still in the tutorial. It's a racing game with rewind, if you want a hard challenge go online.
if the gameplay is good and fun why should you care what some numbers on the screen are telling you?
2 years later and still seething over it
lmao
4 has a better map
HORIZON JAPAN FUCKING WHEN
no i've won. the game marked the race as won and unlocked the next one. should i make my own arbitary rules? keeping notes of which place i got in each race?
Hopefully with Toyotas that aren't locked behind seasonal events
>delists
Why tho?
Licensed brands aren't lifetime contracts user
HORIZON GERMANY FUCKING WHEN
I WANT TO DRIVE ON THE AVUS OR NURBURGRING
Then you're still in the fucking tutorial. The game railroads you through the seasons changing until you get into the actual game.
This plus the lack of Championships is why FH3 is better but FH4 is still okay.
FH2 is the worst one, don't @ me.
no i'm not. did you play the game?
did you?
Sorry, Horizon devs are anglosphere apes so expect Canada, South Africa or some other shithole for the next installment.
imagine taking /vee/ stigma and consuming popular contrarian opinions seriously and letting it ruin your fun times with a driving game when the race end stuff lasts literally 10 seconds
I really hated this. FH4 has lousy progression. It's just fucking boring when it doesn't matter whether you win or lose.
What did you dislike about FH2? I agree.
The global illumination in FH4 is pretty fucking good. No other game comes close to the almost perfect rasterization the engine has
