GD is easily one of if not the best route in the game.

Gameplay loop is horrible. Fire Emblem should have zero grinding opportunities and balanced accordingly.

Probably because the only other time it can happen is playing AM with Deer recruits at Gronder, and like nobody has unique dialogue there due to infighting between the Lions and Deer side being retarded that chapter.

Felt kind of random to be honest, like they needed to give AM some kind of final boss that wasn't just an emperor with a big axe.
Doesn't even get a cutscene, Dimitri only acknowledges it half way through the map, and she just goes back to normal when defeated.

Nemesis killed Sothis and set into motion 99% of the circumstances around the main story of 3H. Also, his music is god tier, his map is based, and every cutscene he’s in is pure kino. It’s much better than Edelgard or Rhea going crazy and turning into monsters.

Kind of wasted potential. Edelgard was already a sort of twisted science experiment, took her long enough to begin looking the part. On that note, the Agarthans barely consider surface dwellers human due to their Crest-bearing affinity. Makes me wonder how they evolved differently from the rest of Fodlan.

But he is completely irrelevant to the overarching plot of Eedelgard going nuclear because "muh crests"

He's the guy responsible for Crests being a big deal.

I feel like it was kind of unnecessary, they already laid it out pretty clear at least in the BL route that Dimitri and Edel had completely clashing POV's and wouldn't be able to solve things peacefully, so she was already set up fine as an enemy we HAD to take down.

Monstering her up just kind of cheapens whats meant to be a sad fight between two opposed leaders who have a shared past, and she just turns back into her old self before you kill her anyway, so it ends up feeling even more random.
