Switch to Sorcerer ASAP. Mage is a support class best left to pawns. Ogres also prioritize women, so act accordingly as a loli. If you're talking about the one beneath the Pawn Guild you can try to bait it off the edge or just skirt around it.

Is there advantages to playing a small little girl? I assume I would have more health playing a normal, taller, and heavier character.

Heavier char means more carry str.

Big heavy character has not carry weight, I think smaller lighter characters have faster stamina Regen but I'm not positive

The first thing greeting you are the shitty graphics and the absent artstyle. Nothing says "generic" more than a buttugly game with artstyle that can be described as "medival":
Next thing you realize that your movement is a little bit wonky but thats okay there are games way more unintuitive than that.
You get your first quests and you relize you are playing an Offline MMO with trash quests , non existant animations and the most barren story since Dark Suuls because its literally " The Ancient eveil has awakened"
Well but thats okay you have atleast a fun combat.
Problem is the combat gets stale the excact minute you realize that you have 3 enemy types that respawn every few minutes with bigger bosses that can always be defeated by grabbing on them.
In other words its medicore at best

Anyway OP you're a faggot for playing as a girl to begin with. Ogres specifically target females too so have fun getting raped all the time.

And don't listen to the user who said mage should be left to pawns. Mages are absolutely useless with shit growths and unreliable healing that is far outclassed by cheap and easily procured items. Any party with a mage is a bad party. The best party is a yellow vocation player dodge tanking while shitting out mad physical DPS while three sorcerer pawns sync spells. Unless you're a magic archer, your pawn should be a huge muscle sorcerer loaded up with blast arrows. If you can't use blast arrows then it's okay to make a cute redhead or brown female sorcerer pawn.

mage with legions might and utility spells isn't that bad, it's a qol thing for less technically proficient players

The taller you are, the better, mechanics-wise, just like in real life. However, it's merely a test of your resolve, to see if cuteness matters to you more than all those worldly conveniences, as it should to any thinking man.

Depends entirely on how adept you are at the (somewhat uncooperative) sliders, but the proportions are admittedly on the midget-y side.

I really loved this game lols. I maxed everything that could be maxed and played every story possible.
Hell, I even used the speedrun mode.

It was between these 2 and Zig Forums overwhelmingly recommended Dogma so I picked it up for $30 and haven't looked back since.

I've been playing for about a week and holy fuck this game is great. It is by no means perfect, it severely lacks polish in terms of its UI, graphics, inventory economy, and animation but the actual gameplay rhythm, atmosphere, and combat mechanics are so perfect that all else becomes irrelevant.

There is no clearer case for gameplay over cinematics in video games than Dragon's Dogma. Maybe ever.

Sure, I would like a sequel with more polish and cinematic quality to balance the experience out, but overall DD offers something I've never played before.

Japenese developers that made Devil May Cry make their own Western inspired RPG, it is a truly strange and brilliant concept that I'm glad I chose over AAA The Witcher (Red Dead Redemption gameplay, Assass Creed atmosphere, Batman Arkham combat, YAWN.)

...anyway, I'm very happy to be playing this on Switch. And apparently I can get around 100+ hours of gameplay off of my first playthrough so I'm a satisfied customer so far.

Let's put it this way, despite being 8 years old this game probably has the most comprehensive character creation system ever created except for hair
I know a guy that was able to recreate Azula from Avatar in the game.

I forgot to mention that I used the character creator to make old man King Link, and my pawn is Queen Urbosa from Breath Of The Wild.

I play as strider so he could have the bow and arrow, and made her a fighter so she's my tank.

They came out pretty good looking and accurate to scale too, I'm just too lazy to screen capture and upload it.

smaller characters have smaller stamina penalty when climbing, so hobbit builds are good for mounting enemies.

It's literally my favorite game ever and the closest thing I've ever gotten to what I would consider my 'dream' game.. Which would be a Monster Hunter World like action game, but it's western fantasy, people play classes, and join up into groups of 4 (or 2 with npc pawns) and fight monsters like Dragons and Ogres n' armies of Orcs, etc..

I'd love a sequel, I PRAY for a sequel, but at the same time I'm fine with it just having happened and them leaving it alone.
My favorite game used to be Warcraft 3, so you can imagine how I feel about sequels or remakes.
