Trash opinion speaking positively of boring tundra.
>WOTLK was 12 years ago
Old school Darkshore had to be my favorite WoW zone with Auberdine being my favorite little town. Was pretty pissed to see it destroyed in Cata
Fpbp
WotLK is the best expansions and the canonical end of Warcraft.
Based
I wanna go back
I can hear it bros... youtube.com
You know, I've noticed that when people talk about good WoW soundtrack, they only seem to bring up the earlier expansions. No one really mentioned BFA or Legion or WoD.
Howling Fjord was pretty but it was a fucking awful quest zone, at least for alliance. I don't know if it was much better for horde or not. There was so much running back and forth across to zone from quest area to quest giver, it was like a classic fetch quest. It was worse toward the end of the zone too with that fucking Vrykul crypt, it was like 2 hours of just running back and forth from there to the keep and back to do one quest at a time.
Borean may be fucking nasty and ugly to look at but from a pure gameplay perspective it's so much better than Fjord.
Wrong. Especially music-wise. Howling Fjord and Grizzly Hills had absolutely kino music
WoW lost popularity hard before/during cata, so most people think back on pre-cata most fondly, because that's when they played. I myself dropped it somewhere during the Ulduar release so I can relate.
>I don't know if it was much better for horde or not
Not really no. Which is why I went to Borean Tundra after just an hour into the Howling Fjord.
this, played vanilla, bc, wotlk, cataclysm and classic and wotlk was the best
My dude. When everyone was dicking around in westfall and waiting for mobs to spawn to collect their bear asses, I was enjoying myself in Darkshore.
WotLK > MoP > Cata > BC > shit > Legion > WoD > BFA
I quit about halfway into WOTLK and never looked back. And seeing how things turned out after wotlk I can say without a doubt, that was the peak of wow.
>Teldrassil gets made into the worst starting zone
>Darkshore is wrecked and made into an awful questing zone that's a pain in the ass to navigate on foot, half the story is just everyone crying and being dead
>Ashenvale is fucked, all the towns are constantly on fire and being invaded, half of it was clearcut by nignogs and the other half has a fucking giant ugly volcano sprouting out of it
>Literally wrote an entirely new Night Elf city in Stonetalon mountain just to have something they can nuke down to the fucking bedrock
>Hyjal basically razed to the fucking ground
>Teldrassil later just gets completely blowed up
WoW is a pretty fucking miserable experience if you're a fan of Night Elves. By Cata they just stopped pretending to care and any time they needed gratuitous destruction and misery they just blew something up that had night elves in it.
>playing alliance
>not wearing shoes
>not wanting to look like this
>the one face everyone picks out of 19 other monster faces
lol
I love trolls but you're a faggot
I don't want to look high...
Only thing absolutely aids about Fjord were the buggy ass stone giant quests when there were so many people fighting for them
why would anyone be a fan of night elves?
WoD had amazing music, but the emphasis was more on epic and "cinematic" music, rather than moody or atmospheric background music.
But yeah, Legion and BFA had mostly forgettable music, other than a few good themes here and there.
