Yes, it was disappointing. Story went from being spork random cringe to twitter checkmark woke cringe. Every main character being a strong woman competing for the limelight got old very, very fast.

The DLC also sucks. The endgame sucks. I put 60 hours in and never touched it again.

I always lose interest around Prometheas. Also, and I can't quite figure out why, but I just didn't have much fun with the characters as before in BL2.

FL4K was the first recommended to me, and the sniping and turning invisible got old. Moze was broken on launch and I tried the new Moze not so long ago, she's very run of the mill and lacks excitement to me.

amara is retard tier fun on playthrough one if you just push points into melee, or accumulate a lot of speed on zane and bonus damage while moving fast. it's been a almost a yaer but movement speed damage zane could nearly insta-kill the first raid boss solo before the raid nerfs. no clue if that's still the case
frankly if you're not feeling it through promethea the game doesn't magically get better later on though, so if neither option sounds entertaining, you probably should spend your time doing something actually fun

That sucks, I played through BL2 like 5 times or so and I bought BL3+the DLC when it was all on sale when it first came to steam without even investigating into it first. Guess that will teach me. BL2's writing was trash too, but the fun builds really carried the game for me. Shame Gearbox is so adamant in no DLC characters, because their initial lineup is just lacking imo.
