But the One S is an overall improvement, better bumpers, supports bluetooth

Am an idiort, I much prefer the xbone controllers.
They break way easier, I'm on my 4th from little shit like them falling off the couch, whereas my DS controllers I've had since release.
But I only own 2 DS controllers because they don't take fucking batteries, its dumb as fuck.
Also the xbone controller layout is miles better, everything is where it should be.

AA batteries are preferable since that means the lithium pack inside wont eventually leak/explode and the controller will last until it breaks from physical wear/abuse instead of time
Plus anyone not using rechargeable AAs in stuff like that is literally wasting money

I never broke a single 360 controller but I'm running through xbone controllers like nothing else.

I’ve had to return two controllers because there is common problem with unresponsive buttons, if you don’t push them exactly straight down it’s a chance it won’t register.

I like the controller, but the d-pad could be better and either make it so the system recharges the controller or make a Goddamn official wired controller. I don't get Microsoft's deal with that. Both Nintendo and Sony do rechargeable controllers, there's no excuse for them not to do it either.

user, you can buy recharchable packs, or even, rechargeable batteries, theyve existed no doubt longer than you.

The complexity of the controllers makes them easier to break. I still got controllers back to Sega Master System and they are still solid after 33 years of use. Both the PS4 and the Xbone controller falls apart easily. Mine usually last about a year.

AA slot is without a doubt superior to internal battery pack. The only downside you have to buy separate rechargeable batteries but they cost nothing anyway

It's like, you mention your controllers breaking from just falling off the table, but I've thrown 360 controllers and they still worked. Yeah I know, stupid as fuck. I used to have anger issues as a kid,, I still do to some degree, but I've come up with methods to control it, like not playing heavily RNG bound multiplayer games.

I just do not fucking understand this autism over PREFERRING a tiny built in battery that you can't upgrade or replace in the event that it malfunctions, has to be charged via a wire so that already defeats the whole purpose of having a battery in the controller, why the fuck would you ever want that when you can have three times the juice that can be recharged in under a minute by simply swapping out for fresh ones? I just do not understand how your brain can be wired to think the former is better.
