At this point any franchise probably can fit into most new boards, as brought up. You get decent Zig Forums threads on weekends and the /vg/ threads aren't bad (particularly by vg standards). Probably won't get decent Zig Forums threads again until some news comes out.

Only because /vp/ doesn't allow for digimon, monster rancher, jade cocoon, bakugan, fossil fighters, ooblets, invizimals, tem tem and the other true kings of the genre
Those topics would probably just become pseudo-generals on /vp/ since none of them have the constant outpouring of content that Pokemon gets. Worse still a bunch of fanboys on /vp/ would probably raid those generals to try and tout the superiority of Pokemon like they do on other boards.
