When does it get good?
I'm about to drop it.
When does it get good?
Isn't 35 hours more than enough to complete the game? Unless you're playing a game that you don't enjoy to completion.
nah that game is long
>bought it from a key site earlier today
>get an hour in
>crashes, creates an error report
>nobody knows how to fix it, multiple people have the same issue
great, can't even refund it if it keeps fucking up
Why the fuck you play it for 35 hours? Jesus christ
if you didn't enjoy it since the first minute it isn't gonna get any better
How are you playing? If you are constantly holding both triggers down, grabbing every package so you are weighed down, and walking a lot you are playing it wrong. You should be sprinting and double jumping a ton unless you are in any area filled with hazardous (ie: red)terrain.
You updated all your drivers right user?
Never, you have been memed by Kojimashills
The whole "fellow PC players, trust me, I'm loving this" was a falseflag from Kojitards to ramp up this failure's sales. The real reason is how stupid you gotta be to fall for it and buy a game with the tag "walking simulator"
just updated, was one behind, some were saying it's due to DLSS but who knows
After 20 hours there's no point in picking shit up off the ground unless you want to role play as a lost package delivery man
Anyone else skips cutscenes? This cutscene in particular was so boring and kept dragging on and on.
>play game for 35 hours
>when does it get good
dude if you didnt like it then you would have stopped ages ago
If you pick up a kojima game without being 100% into watching a movie in the process you've only got yourself to blame.
Well that sucks, game seems pretty stable for me so far
Wait wtf is the double jump???
>game tells me I can hold triangle/Y to unload cargo and rearrange it
>puts it all on the floor
>okay, I'll pick some up and carry the rest in my hands
>he keeps picking everything up without me telling him to, and keeps dropping stuff too
and for some reason when I open the map menu it closes straight afterwards, too
>being 100% into watching a movie
I'm ok with watching a good movie. Death Stranding is a terrible movie.
I think people might genuinely be playing it wrong like journalists and streamers did. When played right it’s more of a platformer than a walking sim. If you play it safe and slow you’re gonna be bored to tears which is what a lot of people did.
Packages are pretty much exp/points and the places you drop them off with works like skill trees. At some point you get the shit you want and just do it to 5 star things.
It actually get worse the longer you play because everything is about vehicles and it’s boring as fuck. It helps playing offline so you don’t have to see all the shit every other player left behind. But it is really a pointless game with a boring story.
When you have a bit of momentum built up and are halfway under your carry weight you can tap x twice and cover a huge distance. Just hold both triggers as you hit the ground for a moment not to lose balance then let them go and keep dashing.
A game about hiking and preparing for a trek is all about taking it slow and planning ahead. It’s terrible game design to throw this element into it if they wanted players to speed shit up and take risks
It's not worth it for the "ending"
You plan so you can go fast. If you do it right you’ll barely have any trips or get your vehicles caught on terrain.
If there is a wrong way to play it, it’s poor game design
Yeah, if you pick up a vehicle there is no more gameplay. Good design
It’s the equivalent of playing an rpg, grabbing everything and becoming over encumbered, them blaming the game instead of yourself. It’s not on the game, it’s on the player for not reading through the tips.
>refn cutscenes
>boring
you better don't get to the cringeworthy, neverending amelie ones
>more of a platformer
what do you mean, using the ladders/anchor?
the game fucks you in the ass if you jump down over a meter with any back cargo
If you pick a vehicle the terrain has to accommodate it and even then you need to pay close attention to the openings in the terrain so you can get through without damage.
If it’s a bit of a further down but still safe distance you can dodge forward without suffering cargo damage so long as you aren’t near or over your weight limit.
No. That’s not at all the same because of you pick up too much and become over encumbered the character will be punished for it.
If the game is about hiking across country and the planning of said hike doesn’t matter, it’s bad.
From the start you plebian
Which was never a problem you had to face. And if there was an issue of getting across something you better believe there was enough ladders and rope and roads left behind from other players. Not once did I ever had to overcome terrain in a challenging way.
I got to Heartman a few days ago and his cutscene was the best one so far. Unironically made me laugh at times
>le upvote man
what the fuck was his problem
So you're on the Beach and this guy slaps your sister's/mother's ass, what do you do?
It doesn't.
Zig Forums tricked you into buying a mediocre game.
>when I open the map menu it closes straight afterwards
There is an unpatched bug with the game registering multiple/random inputs when you press the map button on the controller. Turning on controller configuration support on steam fixed it for me.
Beat his shit in
Never
