John Long

Carson Powell
2 is an insult to 1.
Justin Sanders
I tried the first one and dropped it very early on. Is the second game better?
Jason Smith
This. Absolutely amazing game.
Connor Myers
2 is far more better
Evan Turner
Will we see her again bros?
Landon Davis
Already have and I enjoyed it. Hope there will be a third and final game after they are done with Ghostwire Tokyo.
Hunter Hall
i hope so, i hope we get another game
Adrian Cooper
Yeah, bitchslapped that shitshow that was Mikami "returns to survival horror" and humiliated Mikamifags
Elijah Fisher
Yes, by far
Glad this game is getting the second chance it always deserved
One of the best survival horror games of the last decade, especially in first person mode
Ian Hall
Evil Within plot is fucking nonsense. If they make Evil Within 3 it's not gonna make any fucking sense to outsiders. Not unlike Kingdom Hearts 3.
Jaxon Sanders
Meh, for the story and some interesting and smart bits of two that reference the first
The game isn't that great tho, it starts good but 60% of the game is bad, especially the city section.
The story and characters are definetly inferior.
People praise it because it pulls off all the jollies of survival horror, bloodied asylum, weird protagonist with past trauma, chaisaw weird hockey mask fat dude,.. but it isn't as great as some Zig Forums contrarians hype it
Xavier Sanchez
Straight white male kills a homosexual and a black man there i saved you 20 hours
Jayden Perry
Any other series where the first game is a 2/5, and the sequel is a 5/5?
Robert Sanders
You HAVE to play the first one (which is a solid 6/10, a good Game)
2 is way better and it's enhanced in every way by playing the first one too.
You won't get the greatest moment in 2 if You don't finish the first one
Eli Rivera
The first one had story bits left from cut storylines so it was a weird mess. It's also for most of the game an incohesive mix of ideas and setpieces, using the Stem as excuse (though all of the sudden the ending is linear). 2 removes this
Cooper Campbell
And he goes deep inside his daughter and his daughter is now full of white goo
Zachary Richardson
Jace Powell
This is actually wrong tho
This
Tew 6/10, disappointed early for the premises of the marketing of a return to survival horror
Tew2 is 8/10
Julian Bailey
You got it the other way around ya numpty
Wyatt Foster
Holy BASED
Sebastian Chadstillianos
Justin Wood
More like a masterpiece of shit
Grayson Allen
>Inb4 Zig Forums seethes because breaking 4th wall bad even tho the game has superb cutscenes and screenplay
>btw it's ok when Kojimbo says the player the freqymuency code is behind the game boxart
Cooper Morgan
2 is horrible by comparison. Its only saving grace is its art-direction and open map design. Otherwise, it's completely lifeless, sterile, without any shred of charm from the first game completely and utterly absent. And this is at its most apparent when it calls back to the monsters from the original, in-where you refight mere simulacrums of their original counterparts.
The last 1/4 of the is particularly terrible as well. With nonsensical melodrama and action sequences capping off its final chapters.
Cameron Miller
*with any shred of charm from the first game completely and utterly absent
Parker Hall
I disagree, it's a strange story but it's not very complicated. The lore of Resident Evil is more complex. An evil secret society funded experiments that connects brainwaves together because they wanted to use it for world domination. Most of them are dead now because of the efforts of Sebastian Castellanos and Juli Kidman, the playable main characters of the series. But Ruvik, a brilliant but evil scientist who did most of the brainwave research by himself, is still at large and is probably plotting to perfect his technology and destroy humanity. Done.
Luke Turner
Both are fucking mediocre. Don't give me that masterpiece shit.
Landon Johnson
TEW was a good but flawed survival horror game. Worth a play but not worth paying full price for, either pirate or buy on a sale.
TEW2 was complete dogshit. Survival horror replaced by open world memes, main character complete garbage, all sense of horror and fear was non-existant. A sequel was not needed.
Grayson Allen
2 may 'remove' that aspect, but it's sublimated by poorly written melodrama and a largely uninteresting cast.
Dylan Reyes
No one is justifying their ratings ITT.
I played the first game and got a few hours in. Seems like Resident Evil 4 but stealth focused, you have hiding spots you can run back to, stealth kills, traps. I found the Debussy arrangement more interesting than the game itself. I also played the demo of the sequel and it seemed to be the same but more open levels.
Luke Cooper
I did and Platinum'd it.
I'm happy Daddy Sebastián got a happy ending.
Solid 8.5/10
Grayson Cooper
Reminder that if you see words such as "hurr durr ubishit, muh open world" it hust means that the poster didn't even touch the game
Easton Perez
One thing the original had going for it was tension and its grimy aesthetic, which is all but gone with its design by committee sequel.
Fuck you. I played it.
Noah Ortiz
Nah, the story, art direction, animations, VA were all top tier
This is not an opinion, anyone can go on youtube and compare the lifeless stare of the egenric Dirty Harry cop of tew1 with tew2
Fuck off jaded faggot
