never had so much fun teamkilling as in this game

There was a game like Battlefield Heroes called Bulletgrounds on steam that hit the F2P section a while back, you couldn't download and play it though. I've been following the discord, but development on it is on pause because it didn't get enough attention.

It's still being played bro.

thought EA shut them down a while back?

No?
EA doesn't give a crap about them.
There's also Phoenix Network which has fewer players.

What the fuck? Why? The last good battlefield game was 2142, isn't BF Heroes the one that gave everyone infinite fucking ammo?

I swear they shut down something related to battlefield and community servers

1943 also had infinite ammo

this game would have done so much better had it been released like 10 years later

BF2 Revive, and that wasn't EA's fault.
It was the project themselves because they got a notice from EA stating that they can't just give out BF2 for free like they were doing.
>shut it all down

10/10 if it weren't p2w

It's up and running, you absolute mongoloid.

I remember the exact date it went P2W, November 30, 2009.

So how do they handle the currency stuff?

I thought this was trash, but seeing what came after it makes me want it back.

Everything is in Valor Points.
If they made money off the game, EA would have shut them down already.

What happened again. I was there but I forgot

There's no P2W stuff anymore, just click and get anything you want. They unlocked and made everything free.

Yeah, I just forget how the free-to-play point system stuff worked back in the day, since I played BFH only pretty briefly.

Always thought it was a big inspiration for fortnite, the artstyle, the noises. Would have done a lot better if it was released in the last 5 years

They lowered the amount of Valor Points you could get per match to an absolutely pitiful amount.
Also not long after they announced the Super/Uber weapons which were objectively better than the standard ones and they were for BattleFunds (paid currency) only.

Zig Forums meetup, proper widescreen support and a much higher playercap per server when?

It hurts bros, the one and a half Australian servers were home for me.

It was revived a couple of times. It's not as fun without the progression. And the kickstarted spiritual sucessor Renegade line never went anywhere...

That means free real estate. Let's make BFH but in a cartoony cold war setting with commies vs freedomland.

It still has the progression though?
Getting to Level 30 for all classes is a grind like it always was, albeit slightly better due to cheap XP boots.
Just play the damn game via Rising Hub. It's mostly filled with Level 30 Gunners though.

>It still has the progression though?
Depends on the project. Some has everything from a given version, some tries to have an in game VP store. I am glad some people realized that the Bad Company guns ie. AK74 and M4 are just reskins of the uber and super weapons. How many kids where scammed by those, lol.

I used to be the Royal army and almost every time the National Army was better
Why?

I only know of Rising Hub and Phoenix Network and they both have progression.

I am 90% certain the Royals had a higher win rate than Nationals overall.

I have my experience from a few years ago. I think those are the ones that keep rolling. Others were abandoned or shut down.

All the tryhards went to the Nationals.

I hated Helicopters. They were so badly implemented.

I liked them.

I stopped playing the EA version by the time they introduced those.

It was usable, but it just reminded me that the game could progress so much more. BFH is full of cool ideas, never expanded upon again. See the sole Moon Map. You could have low gravity maps, but no. You get Lunar Landing and that is all.

It was really late, I don't blame you. Which was your last update?

I think I stopped around the time they introduced the Medal of Honor: Warfighter crossover stuff.
