Sitting is a lot more strenuous on your spine than standing and laying down due to the way your spine contorts to accomodate your pelvis and neck's positions, proper ergonomics for chairs should aim to make your sitting position closer to standing than normal chairs do.

This. I just got one about 2 weeks ago and Im very happy with it, fabric Charcoal Blue. It took me about a week to get used to it because I did have a softer chair as this user said, so my legs felt a little sore after sitting on it for a while but Im completely used to it now.
The ONLY downside to it in my opinion is the armrests, they're VERY firm so it can give some elbow discomfort. Ive ordered these memory foam slip on covers for both of them and once they get here I'll be completely satisfied.

IKEA Markus is best value overall.
Gamer chairs are total garbage, don't even bother. Either go for a Markus or if you're strapped with money, then go for one of those professional surveillance chairs.
Also get a Shiatsu back and/or neck massager devices. Those things do wonders.
