DOSHO
DOSHO
DOSHO
NO HONORU
What did he mean by this?
Literally the most annoying enemy I have ever met.
They alone make me rate the game a 6 instead of a 7.
Whoever play tested this game must ahve done so on mute.
>1 archer left
>dosho
Truly mongoloids
new game + when
replaying missions when
I just want to replay yarikawa's siege
"Arrow incoming, Ghost-San. Please dodge kudasai"
I wanna replay all the big seige/raid missions, they were def the highlight of the game. Mowing down mongols with your nakama was kino
>New Game+
I really HOPE they put this in, most people said it's most likely going to happen. I think it's retarded if they decide to add it since it's a highly requested option.
Masako the mourning lesbian
Yuna the bulldog dyke with retarded little brother
Ishikawa the dickhead archer/exiled samurai
Big monk guy with big monk guy problems
Traitor strawhat guy that got forced to torch a dude
Tomoe who's in the game for eight seconds
Old maid lady you beg to teach you poisons
10,000,000 fox dens
Those sublime fucking duels
I'm surprised I remember this much about this game a week after beating it.
*holds block*
>Those sublime fucking duels
>tfw that one guy fishing and waiting for you
>Jin just wants to talk it out with him
>no other way but to have a duel to the death
Stumbling on them on the first playthrough is great. Especially if they are a little out of the way from the main road.
This game would be so much better if it was linear instead of open world.
70% of the content is so fucking boring.
The entire game feels like you're just doing side content for a completion.
He's literally telling you when he's about to shoot and with minimal investment you can block their arrows. Filtered by EZ mode archers, imagine.
*charges and presses circle to knock you down*
psssh
>game about going from samurai to ninja
>end doing the opposite because once you unlock the good stuff, fighting is more fun than stealth
I never said they were hard, or even remotely challenging. They are just annoying. Blocking their arrows does not in any way stop them from spamming DOSHO DOSHO no stop throughout the fight.
They make it so that instead of fighting the enemies surounding me, I ignore everyone and just run over to the 3-5 archers that are in every single fight and kill them first so I can fight without listening to their spam.
Shows a lack of polish in those finer details.
How hard would it be to just:
>if active enemies > 1 then Dosho
>if active enemies = 1 then no Dosho
?
Stabbing Ryuzo point blank in the fucking chest was great.
The game is full of shit like this. The archers are a great example of this. They should have switched to melee when you came within range, or at the very least run away instead of trying to shoot at arrow at you while standing right in front of you.
They also ignore cover and line of sight. Which means that they will fire at you non stop even when they can't see you, or even hit you, because of obstacles.
In one case, I was behind a boulder that fully covered me four times over, and an archer in a tower just kept shooting at me. Just out of curiosity I waited to see how long he would shoot, and he never stopped. Just kept shooting arrows into the rock for around 5 minutes straight while shouting DOSHO every 2 seconds.
Just finished it. There was this funny instance when I chased to the khan in which I ended up in a fight with nothing but 6 archers trying to burn and poison me from every angle.
Also L2 is the only proper way to end the game
>tfw Samurai Jack has better core movement and combat mechanics than Ghost
And it doesn't have forced follow and a camera crammed up the character's ass. Japan wins again.
>L2 is the only proper way to end the game
>that fucking cry of agony from Jin when he pulls the trigger
Fucking stuck with me.
Why did Jin even bother with the poison, it's a way slower shittier way of killing someone
>charge into open gates with enemies coming out of it
>gates close behind me
>can't epic parkour out
>"RETURN TO TALE ZONE"
>resets to checkpoint
Why does this fucking shit keep happening
They had to contrive a way for Jin to fully fall from grace in his uncle's eyes. Poison is a coward's tool, a woman's tool, but it fucking works. I like that the mongs start using it against you after that, as obnoxious as it is.
What's the point of the back katana in the ghost outfit? You literally never use it, not even in cutscenes. It's so fucking stupid it doesn't even change looks after selecting any katana skin.
It shatters any immersion built up. Tons of games I've played have the archers move around or even pull out a sword to adapt to the player's actions. I'll bet they were banking on the DOSHO becoming a meme. It sorta did.
>Why bother with this instant death arrow that ignores armor and is completely silent
It's a useful tool. It's even moreso when it's out to use in the story of killing a hundred Mongols.
Also after going through the country side and seeing the fucked up shit the Mongols did like impaling families on spikes, burning villages, and all that. The best way to kill Mongols is to make it as painful as possible and you're supposed to make use of the fear mechanic. The best approach is to poison the leader, set fire to all the beefier enemies and to kill whoever's left, while leaving the ones crawling alive to suffer. Sounds edgy but it's basically the best way to experience jins journey of returning the Mongols tactics back to them.
>tfw going for a poison charm loadout
>Tayadori's set with enough arrows and wind charms to genocide an island
At least they give you the option to be as busted as possible
>Why does cool thing exist
Shut the fuck up kid, I'll beat your ass up after class.
