OG Dragon Ball started as a parody/gag/adventure manga and Bulma was basically a subversion of the damsel in distress trope. Instead of being a calm and lovely princess, she's an

i feel like something like Wind Waker would be really good. replace the boat with the Nimbus. obviously have a stronger focus on melee combat than using gadgets like Zelda. but that same tone and sense of whimsy and adventure would be perfect for a Dragon Ball game.

After rewatching DB, Z and Super a few months ago after not watching Z and DB in a long time, holy fuck DB is so much better than the others. It's so enjoyable and fun and really makes you love the series. Every Budokai Tenkaichi is a treat.

Yeah I am with others on doing a Zelda style of an open world style of exploration using the nimbus cloud. There could be post game sidequests based on the movies too.

To be fair, it's only REALLY egregious with a few characters.

Dragon Ball Origins 1 and 2 are the definitive OG Dragon Ball game experiences in my opinion. I prefer 2 due to its increased combat depth and button options (DBO1 is a Phantom Hour Glass clone) - but the first is still more than worth playing. Sucks seeing everyone only acknowledging the Advanced Adventure.
